I chose this breed specific kibble for my miniature Poodle. She loves it. The size of kibble is perfect for her small mouth and helps keep her teeth clean.

Balanced nutrition that keeps them healthy and looking their best I have three young miniature poodles and this food has made a noticeable difference for them. I have tried Blue Buffalo, Farmer's Dog, and other premium brands and even spent time cooking homemade meals, but nothing has worked as well as Royal Canin Poodle Adult for my dogs. It is clearly designed with the breed in mind. The kibble size is perfect for them to chew and digest easily which matters since poodles can be prone to dental problems. Their coats have never looked better with more shine and softness and I can see how much healthier their skin is. The mix of protein fat and nutrients helps keep them at a healthy weight and full of energy. While it does slightly cost more than regular food, I believe it is worth it because it supports their overall health in a way other foods never did. I highly recommend it to anyone with poodles who wants food that truly matches their needs.

I have been to unsuccessfully get my dog to eat a bunch of brands. Science Diet had him licking his paws and stinking a bit. Also it would appear that now on Royal Canin he has no allergy problems, he has more hair too which is good. I've tried the boutique ones like Spot and Tango, Sundays. Stella and Chewie and some other ones but none of those have the skin and hair results I've been getting on Royal Canin. He is a mixed breed of 2 breeds and I had him genetically tested for this--I use the Royal Canin specific breed formula for purebreeds. I buy one bag of each one of his breeds and mix them 50 50 for his custom breed mix. When I had him on all the others it was a battle to get him to eat the food on it's own I always had to top it. He goes right for the Royal Canin, but I find that something like Sundays for example makes a decent "treat" topper from time to time. Typically he will eat the Royal Canin on it's own. I see people griping about the price, but if your dog is super picky you end up throwing out a lot of dog food too. The fact that he EATS the RC and I never have to toss it is actually a money saver over the cheaper vet recommended brands. Before I started him on RC I would end up tossing food that even though it was topped with homemade dog food which he really liked, he would get picky and turn his nose up at it if the kibble underneath the topping was SD or another kibble. Sometimes he wouldn't even eat the Spot and Tango on it's own either. Anyways it was such a battle. His poop is not as big and does not smell like it did on everything else either! Less volume and less stink. You really can't go wrong with RC. I'm actually saving money now because he's eating it.

We’ve purchased this for 7 1/2 years without any issues. However, this last bag received in May and just recently opened has made our little poodle very sick. We’ve had her to vet multiple times, Been on several meds to sooth her tummy and gut. I would love feedback from Amazon or Royal Canon concerning this. Thank you

This is tasty to my miniature poodle. It keeps his bowels regulated. His teeth are healthier, also it prevents brown stains on his face from tear drops . It also stops the saliva from stains around his mouth and chin.

She is pretty picky and stubborn eater, sometimes too the point it’s like she is ridiculous (think toy poodle owners know what I talking about), but she scarfs this kibble. We have been feeding her high end freeze dried food but Vet said she needs kibble for her teeth.
