    Nice piece of furniture. Not so easy to assemble. Really needs two people.

Really nice piece of furniture. Assembly...not so easy, especially if you are one person. I had to drag it out of the office where I was assembling it (and it is really hard to,get through doorways), tip it up on end in my vaulted ceiling living room and climb up a ladder to get the back slatted piece in. One of the slats split as I was doing this, but I glued it with wood glue and clamped it overnight, so it barely shows.  But there was a lot of frustration and colorful language in the process of getting the back on. But it loooks great. And I have trundle with the same mattress that is on the bed under the bed.

This daybed is exactly what we wanted for our guest room. The wood is solid, high quality and beautifully stained. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only issue we had was fitting the back within the sides - ended up standing the bed on the arm to use gravity to help. It looks great and the price was right, too.
