I installed some lights and outdoor shade sails in my backyard and these did a really great job at putting it all up there. Easy to use, build quality is great and there's no worry about things rusting. The cable is thin but very sturdy, so you definitely feel it can withstand a lot of weight. I'm probably putting over 200lbs of pressure on some of these components and it's doing a great job.The only downside? It all comes in a small box and spooling the cable can get a bit tricky since it naturally wants to start expanding and you end up with a bit of a cable mess if you're not careful. My tip is take it slow when you're spooling the cable, do little pieces at a time and if it gets getting a little crazy, just start pulling on the cable end to get the desired length rather than trying to fix the mess that will inevitably be made.

A nice little package. I was surprised how snall it was and that 160 ft of cable plus clamps could fit in that package. The wire is just thick enough to hold a light string comfortably but not too thick. They give you brackets to attach to a soffit facia or any flat Surface and a clamps and clevises to use on the cable. I ran the first run out from my soffit facia to a palm tree ( I bought stainless eye lag screw for the tree). Then from the tree to another structure. I used a clamp and clevis on each run. Hung a 45 ft light string on it. Used S hooks that I bought to hang the string from the cable and toe wrapped it every few lights to keep it in place. Took about 29 minutes to install. Still have over 100 ft left to hang another string. Works great.

I used this kit to attach my sunshade to my RV and deck. It was super easy to figure out, but setting up took 2 people. I have had it up since March and Have only had to tighten it once. I live in a very windy area and there has been no problems with my sunshade tearing or getting beat up by the wind. I am so glad I tried this cause it has been worry free for me this summer.

Pad eyes, turn buckles, cable and screws were great. The cable clamps were too large and would not work with supplied cable. Had to go to ace hardware and get smaller cable clamps to make it work.

We bought a new house in late winter. Now that summer is approaching, there are going to be a lot of hot summer nights on the patio. I was looking at buying lights from the warehouse store and hanging them in the back. I was originally gonna try to do string but a buddy turned me on to this kit. I’m glad I listened. For starters, this box is heavy. They didn’t skimp on materials. I’m really excited to see this stuff in action. Stay tuned for pictures (maybe even a video).

I had looked at a few other string light kits, and ended up choosing this kit because of its value. It comes with a ton of items for you to string the metal line with.Extremely easy to follow directions. Almost don't even need the directions. It's pretty self explanatory.My only complaint I have, albeit minor, is that the metal line can very easily get Tangled and knotted up, so be very careful when unraveling the line.Outside of that, great product!

Exactly what I needed to hang my lights and make sure they are secure and look good. E with any wire cabling make sure you are careful unwinding as it will get tangled very quickly. This came with all the components needed to securely Instal my lights. This was a great purchase for the price.

We are using two 16 foot sections of this cable to hang curtains on our screen porch. The cable, turnbuckles, and anchors are sturdy enough. But I had issues with the screws and clamps:The screws are aluminum, and the heads easily stripped out as I was trying to screw them into treated wood, even though I pre-drilled the holes. I had to end up using some 2" deck screws that I had laying around.As far as the clamps go, they were too big for the size wire that is included; it was impossible to clamp them together as the instructions showed. I ended up cutting four extra lengths of wire (about 4 inches long each) for each anchor. I added these into the clamp as filler to give the clamps something to tighten down on. I then wrapped some electrical tape around all of the wires at the clamp to keep the frayed ends from damaging the curtains.All in all, I got the system to do what we needed, but it took about double the time and effort that it should have.

Very easy to hang and use.
