Use the squeeze applicator in the bottle to apply, easy peasy. It's not too heavy, and it slightly straightens, but also gives my beard some fullness, while also softening my beard. This makes it easier to style. The price is a bargain of bargains for an oil of this quality, and the bottle is HUGE, by beard oil standards. Probably the most bang for your buck out there. I use it in my morning regime. Not too heavy, and it last most of the day when used with a beard balm, or wax. I use a different oil for my night time maintenance. I'm AA, and this oil leaves my beard soft, moisturized, full, an feeling fantastic. It will definitely surprise you with the results.

This is much lighter than my other beard creams / oils. It goes in with a very nice fresh citrus and sandalwood smell, and it leaves the beard smooth without being greasy. If I'm going somewhere a few hours this is great. But that's a double edged sword. While it's not as thick as Scotch Porter, as waxy as Honest Amish, or as oily as some nasty subcontinental stuff, it's also completely gone in two hours and my beard is as frizzy as ever - can't tell it was ever in there, so I use other products for a full day or overnight. So this would never be my only beard oil, but I like it as an option. Edit: I was running low and it was on Black Friday sale and I immediately ordered another bottle, which I very rarely do for any other beard product I've tried (only Scotch Porter otherwise). Obviously, my complaint about longevity aside, I really like it and would miss that citrusy scent! So I'm upgrading from 4 to 5 stars.

I love this beard oil because it softens my husband’s beard and is all natural ingredients. It also seems to be good for his skin which sometimes gets irritations around his beard. It doesn’t really smell like sandalwood but smells more like grape fruit which isn’t bad but I was hoping for a more of a sandalwood smell. Still though, this is a quality beard oil.

Given the quality of oils, volume, scent, and price I give this beard oil 5 stars. The only question is, will I get through such a large bottle before it goes bad? It does have grapefruit peel oil, which I'm guessing is for the preservative qualities. No matter how much I retry and retry beard oil, I'm not a fan of how it makes my beard look. I like the what it does for my skin underneath, and the overall health of my beard hair, but I don't like the separation and straightening effect it gives to the hairs. It's equivalent to not wanting an exaggerated, deliberate straightening and separation to the strands of hair on the head when you style it, versus a natural flow and texture that the natural pattern of the hair provides. I've been attempting to get the oil primarily to the roots and skin of the beard, but it always lessens the natural shape and pattern of the beard, to a degree. I'll have to work on it. UPDATE: 11/08/24 I've been using this oil occasionally for just about a year. I think this is good oil. It tames my beard and gives it a groomed shape, but doesn't completely wreak the natural flow of the bead. And just as important for me, it doesn't add too much shine to the beard.

I have tried just about every beard oil, I have a long gray beard, most oils I have tried leave my beard oily or do nothing and I go through a 2 oz bottle in a couple weeks. I tried this one because of the price and did not expect much. To my surprise this oil works great on my beard, it tames it and leaves it soft with a great shine to it, smells like oranges to me. the scent doesn't last long like some. Great value, I will be using this along with one of my other favorites, Honest Amish.

I like the fact that this product is organic, which is one reason I chose to purchase it. My wife and I like Sandalwood, and since it comes in a 4oz bottle I thought I would give it a try. The price per ounce was reasonable, which also was a factor in my purchasing it. However, it wasn't what I was expecting. This oil does moisturize my beard and helps hold my beard in place, but the scent is not sandalwood! It is citrus all the way. If there is sandalwood in this product it is very minimal. The citrus fragrance is overwhelming. It will condition your beard and keep it soft. The fragrance it too much for me! I had to tame it with some Amish Beard Cream I had, which has a much better scent. I will use it, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like citrus. If so, it would be great!
