Men's Athletic-Fit Stretch Jeans - Discontinued Colors

This is the first review I have ever written after hundreds of Amazon purchases. Why write one now? Because these are perfect jeans for me. I can get them in 28” length. I don’t need to waste extra money to shorten them. Great amount of stretch. Waist band is stretchy without being heavy like Lee’s and others. The denim has a nice soft feel. Unusual for denim. Love the athletic fit that sits at the waist but tapers. To get jeans that are not wide at the leg opening in the past I have bought slim tapered jeans of various brands but they are ALL below the waist and constantly ride down, very frustrating! These stay put. I even wear them frequently without a belt! Super comfortable without being baggy. Before getting these, out of frustration, I bought a super pricey pair of jeans from Nordstroms for $150!!! Those are not as comfortable and now I feel like a total dope. Lesson learned. Ignore the bad reviews. Do not ever overpay! Buy these, look good, feel good and smile all the way to the bank. P.S. they wash up just fine with no noticeable shrinkage.

Sturdy, stiff and takes a few washes to break in. Can’t beat the price. Fits to size!

These jeans fit like the proverbial glove in the waist / glute / thigh area, but I have genetically huge calf muscles (even without working them in the gym,) and the cut of these jeans is fairly tight from the knee downward. They'll stretch with use of course, so I can still wear them, but if I were going to do a Rev B on these I'd take into account the fact that people who are gym rats will also work their calves. Which means a bit more circumferential span is needed there.They don't need much of a tweak - else you'd end up with lower legs that are relaxed-fit-baggy - but maybe another inch in total circumference at the calf. When I bend down for something and stand back up these ride up my calves and stick there, I've suddenly got the Pee-Wee Herman high-water style and have to pull them back down.Not a big deal though. Again they *will* stretch, they are still an excellent fit, they're inexpensive, they're available in a solid, dark indigo dye. Call me strange but I'm not enthused at the idea of buying jeans that look like they've been pre-worn for six months by a garage mechanic with a serious incontinence problem. If there's some kind of perceived stylishness in jeans that are visibly worn, buying them pre-stressed is as lame as buying a guitar with the paint pre-worn. Like "Oh, dig ME, I've used these so intensely that the paint is worn off. Except... umm, not really." No. Just... no. Best of all these are available in 28" length on 32" waist, which eliminates a big peeve of mine vis-à-vis jeans:Manufacturers sell pants based on waist vs. inseam measurements, and while the waist measurement is a definite thing, the inseam is not. Tailors typically measure your inseam from the point of direct contact with your groin down to your ankle. So think about it, or better yet just stand up right now and check this out: When you're standing, whatever pants you're wearing do *not* magically stay snugged right up to your Naughty Bits. Rather, the actual cross-seam where the inseam starts will generally hang at least an inch or two *below* the actual, physical surface of your body from which the inseam usually gets measured.Which means - sur-vey SEZ? - the pants you buy with your tailor-measured inseam will be too long, and you're going to be walking around on top of that last inch of cuff, cursing the fact with every step. Unless you go to the expense and hassle of having them altered after the fact. So... a selection of inseam dimensions that actually matches people's true pant-leg length! Amazing! The only thing Amazon - and the whole of the garment industry - could do better is offer men's jeans with those tailor-assumption-inseam options extending all the way down to 26" or 27". We're not all bean-poles out here. I would argue that the vast majority of men, at least in N. America, are shorter than the garment industry weirdly assumes.I'm writing this before having done a wash and with only a day's wear, so I can't comment on how durable the dye is. But at least it's at an intense, deep blue as a starting point - and assuming the dye is of decent quality that's the best you can ask for.[Update 07-27-24: All of the above applies - still a good pair of jeans - but I'm not happy with how the dye is fading. There's a serious fade on both the front and back of the thighs but nowhere else, so the result is that cheesy two-tone thing that screams "Dig these bargain jeans I got from K-Mart!" I probably won't be buying more of these until (unless) I start seeing raves about how this problem - and the calf-size problem - have been corrected in a Rev. B.]

I’ve been wearing Bitton jeans for over ten years now because they look good and they fit well. If you have thick thighs like yo boi here, they will wear out in the crotch after a couple years or less depending how often you wash and wear them. That is expected with any jeans though.Three things I like the most:1) they’re damn stylish without ring that lame torn jean look or anything like that. More stylish than typical blu jeans. Not so stylish they’re not functional.2). They fit perfectly.3) The quality of cotton is great. Brushed and comfortable.

These Amazon Basics men’s jeans fit my husband absolutely amazing! For those who have big and tall husbands, you know how difficult it can be to find clothing that fits well. I was pleasantly surprised that Amazon Basics offers a line that truly accommodates big and tall sizes.I bought these jeans for my husband, and they look incredible on him. They don’t look cheap at all — they look premium, stylish, and very well made. He also said they’re extremely comfortable, which is a huge win.I went back and bought more because you really can’t beat the price for the quality, comfort, and fit. Premium look + big and tall friendly + comfortable = a total win-win.

Good fit and nice to ware. Sitting at a desk all day they did not ride, bunch or keep marks like other pants. I would highly recommend!

I love the colors and fit of these jeans, but the groin area under the zipper separates after some washes. I have purchased several times and I think a hole has developed in 5 pair so far. All same area. And yes I wear them properly.

I like the color of the jeans and the way they fit and the stretch part. The only aspect of the jeans that I'm not happy with are the cut of the pockets.. They're cut like dress pants, with the opening of the pocket in a north/south direction on the side of the thigh. Makes it easier for things to fall out if you crouch down or lie back, like in a dentist chair. Most jeans have the opening of the pockets high up and parallel to the waste, so things can't fall out. On the New York City subways, I think I would also be more vulnerable to pick-pockets. Also, no little change pocket, like most jeans have.

Very suprised with the quality and the fitting. The best thing is you can order according to your length. This is my second pair. Absolute bargain at 24.97$

These jeans are a great value! Cut is equivalent to a Levi's 541. The quality is surprisingly good for the price and they have a tiny bit of stretch for comfort.I love that they come in a wide range of sizes, so finding the right fit is easy. They run true to size and there’s no branding to be seen, which gives them a clean, classic look.Definitely worth grabbing a pair!
