I bought the first masala box to house the spices I use in tea, golden milk, and chai, and I was blown away by how much more fun and creative it is when there are 7 organic spices at-hand. I filled mine with cayenne, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, Ceylon cinnamon, black pepper, and turmeric. When my daughter saw this, she, too fell in love with the idea, so I ordered a second one for her. It's not soup and stew season right now, but I intend to get another for each of us so that we can do the same with those spices.The little spoons are the final touch. It is much better to consider how much of a spice to add by looking at it than to wonder by shaking some vague amount into the mix. You'll be surprised what a game-changer this is if you're a creative cook.

The package that I ordered arrived earlier than expected last January 2020. It was packaged neatly and these masala dhabbas were still in their original packaged boxes to ensure safe delivery and nothing is broken. I opened these packages 1 month later, after I bought fresh spices. I put 1 masala dabba with the common Indian culinary spices like turmeric, kashmiri chili powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, garam masala and cloves. The other would be used for spices that I normally used for baking and warm spices. These spice containers came with 7 containers and teaspoons which is great. It is very durable, and it is great value. The stainless steel is pretty durable and sturdy in my opinion. If you were to buy these containers with a lower price - you might be buying stainless steel that is lower quality or made with other mallaeable alloys and raw materials are just too thin. It may not be able to withstand longer than 10 years or more. These are great for storage in your pantry cabinet or drawer, because it is so convenient whenever you are cooking or baking.

I use this all the time in my cooking and in preparation of beverages. It’s wonderful to have available. I have the small spoons separated into a smaller bowl and have them available but find that I don’t really use them.

Geiles Gerät aber kochen muss man trotzdem können

Na lang wachten op dit item kreeg ik een factuur van PostNL om nog 10,07 euro inklaringskosten te betalen. Na de beloofde levertijd (excuus was uiteraard 'the pandemic', sorry maar na 2 jaar leven met covid kun je hier echt niet meer mee aankomen...) is dit item eindelijk bezorgd maar de foto's op de site komen niet overeen met het geleverde item. Er is maar 1 lepeltje meegeleverd in plaats van de hier genoemde en afgebeelde 7 stuks. Het lepeltje wat meegeleverd is ziet er ook compleet anders uit. Zoek verder naar een ander item als je overweegt hier te bestellen!

Steel is so thin, specially spoons and bowls inside main container. Lid is not tight, some spices don't remain fresh and catch moisture.

The Spice box is perfect for keeping spices. AND the small spoons are of very good quality and each small box will have its own spoon.
