Case-Mate iPhone 6 Plus Case - BRILLIANCE - 800+ Genuine Crystals - Apple iPhone 6 Plus / iPhone 6s Plus - Champagne

Lengthy review but valid points:I had the Champagne Brilliance case for my iPhone 5s and I fell madly in love with it. I am known for dropping my phone and it always held up! NEVER was my phone damaged. There was a couple times it popped out of its case when I dropped it but if that's the price of saving the phone, I'm okay with it! And of course, the plastic got damaged with dents and scratches when I dropped it. I DROPPED IT! Only right before I traded in my iPhone 5s did the case finally crack when I dropped it. And even then, it still snaps shut. A friend of mine is actually using it for her 5s currently since I raved about it so much and it still looks gorgeous.Other than protection, my main concern was the crystals falling out. I did go around the edges when I first got the case and "secure" what I thought might be loose stones with super glue but even a year later, the stones still flexed. It seems they are just stuck to a flexible glue pad so yes, some stones moved, but they never fell out. None. And per my previous paragraph, I am not the easiest person with my phones. The stones also never lost their shine.Fast forward to today and I upgraded to the iPhone 6 and knew I had to have the same case. Even after looking for a slightly slimmer case (this does add a little bulk but you quickly get used to it), I always came back to this one. Like the saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".I did noticed a couple issues with the 6 case. The smell of super glue is there, yes, but I'm sure it will dissipate with time. Like with the 5s case, the headphone jack does not allow for anything larger than the standard apple headphones. So if you have a car audio jack, you need to find a slim adapter or shave the plastic of the jack down. The last issue I saw was the case actually covers one of the speaker holes. Not quite sure why that is but it drives my OCD a bit crazy. So far, I haven't had anyone complain about not hearing me but I can see it possibly being an issue.So, quick recap:PROS: GORGEOUS, stays gorgeous after nearly two years!, stones don't fall out, GREAT protection!CONS: A bit bulky (but you get used to it), small audio jack opening, and case covers speaker (Honestly, the last two are the only reason a star got removed).Overall: Completely worth the investment.

I wanted to like this case so bad. Unfortunately, it let me down and I had to send it back. It was very pretty and reminded me of a more expensive one in a different brand I had purchased but they no longer made the similar case for the phone I had. Which is why I ordered this case. As pretty as it is it was very flimsy and cheaply made. The front piece broke in no time. Definitely not worth the money and would not purchase again. Purchased this for a friend who was looking for a better deal than could be found at the retail stores. This phone case/cover is actually pretty high end to say the least. THIS particular one in this color and design is nearly impossible to actually find at the retail stores, and if you DO find it it's easily $100+ as compared to the less than $75 spent WITH shipping. It showed up right on time, great condition, and looks brilliant, classy, sleek, and stylish. The one caveat to this cover is that it makes the iPhone 6 slightly bulkier in hand as all phone cases do obviously, but this particular case doesn't make it seem like a brick is now in your hand. It's JUST big enough that it actually makes the iphone 6 easier to handle, especially for people with smaller hands/fingers. My one concern was that the jagged edges would get caught on things, tearing at pants pocket linings, inside of a purse, etc in addition to those jagged edges then breaking off as they caught on things(anyone that's ever had a case with any sort of jewels, or sequence on it knows what I'm referring too as 30 days after you spend $50 buck on the thing half the jewels are missing and it looks like, well you know what it looks like at that point...) . NOT THE CASE WITH THIS CASE! The design of the texture is actually pretty smart as the case itself seems to have been cut as one piece for the backing; Ie, there's no glued on jewels or sequence to fall off. PLUS the 'jagged edges' aren't jagged at all, it appears somewhere in the fabrication process the angles of the edges are all smoothed over/slicked back so to speak so there is no catching on anything. All in all, ANYBODY with an iPhone 6 probably wants to take great care of their new investment and not have to worry about using the 'device protection plan' we all love so much with the deductibles you don't find out about until you go to use it etc etc etc, but THIS CASE-MATE BRILLIANCE OIL-SLICK iPHONE 6 case can and will avoid that by protecting the device itself and do so in an EXTREMELY STYLISH AND FASHIONABLE WAY!!!

This is absolutely a beautiful case...but it is REALLY expensive! So if you're going to buy it - make sure you're okay with some of the details. I've had mine for 6 months.1. It is two seperate pieces, and if you were to drop your phone frequently, the plastic bumper/surround would break (my friend's has twice). I don't hardly ever drop my phone- so I don't have issues.2. Warning- this case is heavy and bulky! If you bought an iPhone 6 because you love how slim it is...it won't be anymore! There are hundreds of little crystals glued into it, and it has a rubber interior back---so it adds a lot of weight to the phone. I don't keep it on my phone all the time, I switch cases around. Only one crystal has fallen out, near the camera where my index finger always grips the phone and you can't even tell.3. It is absolutely beautiful! I get compliments on it all the time! Prettiest case I've ever owned!

Beautiful case with crystals. Not had any crystals fall out however the case only lasted 4years as the edging broke when I dropped the phone. Luckily the phone survived without any major damage only a slight scuff.The case is a brittle type of plastic and does not flex that much. Also the tag with branding in it peeled off.Not a case for longevity and I was very careful with my phone!

Fraud

I had it for one day and dropped it and the plastic on the case broke. I now have to buy an new case. I think I need to pick something more durable instead of stylish.

Very elegant and useful case. A bit eavy but comprehensible because of the crystal.

For the look of it, it definitely does deserve 5 stars for the whow factor BUT for me it is not a strong case. This is the second one purchased. First one was a gift, I dropped it once and the top frame snapped. I felt bad so I purchased another, albeit I should not have dropped it again, it did the same thing.Over all I am really disappointed as the look of it is just perfect. I will not be getting another one.They need to strengthen the top part that goes over the front screen and then it would the best cover.
