Matisse's Garden Hardcover – Picture Book, October 7, 2014

This book was a saving grace for one of my lesson plans during COVID-19 online schooling. The book gives a good overview of Matisse in a fun way that my students throughly enjoyed. I'm already planning to incorporate this book into future lesson plans when we are back to our brick amd mortar building.

This seller is awesome. The book arrived in perfect condition as the seller carefully packaged the book in a cardboard sleeve. Best of all, the price for the book is more than reasonable and the shipping charges fair. I will definitely order books again from this seller.

Got the book parcel on 10/23/23. Did not open parcel, because it will be mailed to St. Louis, Mo, as a Christmas gift. Recipient will tell me book's condition and how much she liked her book gift.

Nice book with delightful illustrations. The child learns about the artist as well as stimulated to create his or her own cut outs

Beautiful book!

This is a great children's book about Matisse's paper cut-out period. It has wonderful illustrations and some of the pages fold out to show his most famous works. If you are looking for biographical information, you may want to choose another book. However, I think this one is worth it just for the pictures.

A beautiful book. I just saw the Matisse exhibit at MOMA and had to have this book. Beautifully written, illustrated, and published.

A beautiful book for any age. I bought it for two grand-nieces. One is 3 and one is 6 but I know both will love it. I suspect it will inspire them as they make their own art. But I'm thinking of getting copies to give to adults as well.
