A little back story... I had been feeling off - lacked energy to work out, gained, extra inches of fat, non-existent sex drive, low mood,and crying about silly things. At my annual check up I relayed this to my PCP, who ordered standard labs, and a referral to an endocrinologist. After more extensive work up, the endo confirmed what is suspected, low test--even for a woman! The endo offered to put me on female-friendly dose of testosterone to get my levels up. I told them I wanted to think about it. Well, I decided that I would find out if what I'd read in various places about eurycoma longifolia (scientific/latin name for longjack) was at least partly true. It took about 3 weeks to find out that the effects on sex drive, stamina and energy are true. I noticed more drive in the gym, to the point where I had to set an alarm on my Fitbit so that I didn't spend 2+ hours there because I enjoyed it so much. I can tell a difference in my overall mood, energy/drive when I haven't taken it for a while. I have been taking this brand since 2018 and had the midfortune to run out in summer of 2020, leaving me to substitute another brand. The other brand had a small amount of Tribulus included. Even though I knew how my body reacts to Tribulus, I opted to purchase it anyway. Since it was a small amount. Big mistake. Tribulus pushes my hormonal state to one of estrogen dominance. As soon as this was back in stock, I re-ordered. I generally take 1 cap of the 2 cap serving in the AM on an empty stomach before breakfast and the other with breakfast. Depending on whether I'll be working out on a given day, I'll dose a serving before my workout with my pre-workout. I might split the dose between pre and post workout if it's an early afternoon workout. As for the folks who claim it doesn't work, you should get blood work done and have your blood sugar looked at especially your A1C, and look at your BP. It's hard to have optimal testosterone levels and/or good blood flow when your blood sugar and/or BP is elevated. One could always add a blood sugar support supplement to help. Not everyone will respond favorably to the supplement, but that doesn't mean it doesn't work. Heck, not everyone responds the same to doctor-precribed meds, but that doesn't mean the med should be completely written off as ineffective. I'm not a doctor so don't take anything I've written as medical advice. Good luck.

I took this supplement for 10 days and experienced only negative side effects. Each day, I had a headache, and my hair started falling out at an increased rate. I've stopped taking it, and now it's just sitting in my cabinet like many other supplements that promise great results but don't deliver.

It doesn't work for me

They claimed quick release but after taking this long jack stuff for some time, I have not noticed any benefit at all. They claim 1600 mg but behind the label indicate 80mg of 20:1 extract
