They DO make 'em like they used to.
I chose the Canpis leather camera strap for its vintage appearance, to use on an Olympus PEN-F for World War II re-enactment as a combat photographer. It exceeded my expectations for appearance. With its straight and even stitching, it appears very well made and sturdy, and it was easy to attach. It's several inches longer than the strap that came with the camera, making it ideal for carrying slung cross-body, and its extra width gives a major improvement in comfort when compared to the OEM strap. I expect to enjoy my Canpis strap for years to come.

Outstanding quality! Vastly better than I thought it would be!
I had no doubt that this would be a quality product after reading the reviews, but it is better than I assumed. I thought I would most likely give this a four star review prior to getting it, but upon using it, the quality is truly five stars. I have this attached to my Nikon B700, and I carry it over one shoulder with the camera on the other side of my body versus the standard neck-carry. The stitching is perfect, the look and feel are outstanding, and it comes in rather outstanding Apple-like packaging in terms of quality. Worth every penny!

I almost returned it.
Like the title says, i almost returned it. I was looking for an alternative strap for the my Canon T7 and the width of the strap didn't suit the size of the camera. There was nothing wrong with it, i just thought the width would have been a little thicker. But, luckily i was able to score a Olympus EPL6 and that fit the bill just right. The camera body is in white and pairing it with a brown leather strap was the right combination. it looks so great and it feels really high quality. I used if all day for 4th of July and it was comfortable around my neck and shoulder for 8hrs. And the construction looks to be very sturdy and i have no fear it will slip off the ends. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for none advertising camera strap like the factor ones. lol it's cool to flaunt what you got but i rather have something that is a little more low key. Don't need to draw attention to my gear when walking in public. One thing i do want to bring up and it doesn't bother me because i see it being something that will take a long time to happen. But, if you are wearing this for long periods of time in hot weather, beware that sweat tends to stain the leather, especially the inside non-treated area. It's just good old patina, like watch straps. It will get a little gross....lol Enjoy!!!!

Works great and fits the look
I got this strap because it matches the style of the Nikon Z FC. I went on a trip and got a ton of compliments on the camera. It was super handy, fits really well and looks amazing in my opinion. Travelled all over the world and was perfect to have this trap during the day on my trip. Overall was exactly what I wanted.

Generally A Good Product
Upon receiving the camera strap (as a gift for someone else), I was very happy to know that the item was exactly what I read off of the website. The leather is of good quality, aesthetic, and comfortable. I would personally recommend this product(strap) to those who would like to have a good quality vintage camera strap.

Okay but the "genuine" is not leather
My black strap is made of genuine Naugahide. If you're olde enough to remember the stuff from the 1960s and 70s that we made jokes about: "How many Naugas gave their lives to produce this product?" Well the Naugas were thought to be an endangered species but apparently they're back and once again some manufacturers are claiming them to be "genuine leather". But be aware this strap has very little leather in it. The 2 inch (+/-) strips sewn into the plastic strap where the nylon is attached must be just enough to claim this as a leather product. The rest of the strap is a genuine petroleum product. Mine even has a portion of the stamping on the backside liner, just like the seat cover I had on my 1970 Triumph motorcycle. This is the stuff many "leather" seats in automobiles are made of today except for the small real leather areas that actually touch your butt and back when you sit on them. Otherwise...well, it's not too bad. Remember those Naugahide seats actually stood up to normal use pretty good. The strap seems pretty strong. Strong enough to hold my Nikon D700 around my neck anyway. That's a heavy camera for those who don't know. Real heavy when the battery grip is attached. I didn't use any of the gimmicky attachments included with the strap. I just threaded it through the Nikon Tri-rings and secured with the plastic buckle and slider. Stitching feels strong. Seems okay. But, again, it ain't leather. And that's enough reason for me to give it only two stars. I don't like false labeling. But I should have known that, for a price like this, I wouldn't be getting genuine anything. So I blame myself for buying this. A fool and his money are soon parted they say. And who the hell are "they" anyway? And how did they get so damn smart? Don't get fooled. Buy it for being a low priced strap made of genuine plastic with a couple of small leather tabs sewn on. Genuine. Nauga. Hide.

Great quality, real leather!
I just got my new CANPIS strap, this is my second one and I'm happy to see that they're available in Amazon. The first one is on my Fuji X-T20, this one is for my X-T3 and is a perfect match! The leather is soft and elegant, the stitches (yes, I care about the stitches) are so nice that it's hard to believe that this is a 25 dollars strap. Goes great with my ONA Bowery bag! It comes with accessories that also match the color of the strap. I'm uploading some photos because I think it's totally worth it.

Light enough - but beefy enough where it matters
Works well for a 60 year old SLR camera without strap lugs. I attached the strap the bottom halve of the leather every ready case. The leather portion of the strap almost matches the color of the case. It replaces the original riveted leather strap that was thin and cracked. This is a strap that you install once and then leave it. The leather portion isn't the thickest, but it is supple.
