Beautiful surface, fills in minor scratches
Itโs not hard to use, it leaves a great finish that only needs light buffing. Wonderful on any finsh of wood. Fills in minor cracks and scratches. First time will likely require 2 thin coats.

Great product for reglossing antiques
I bought this to treat some antique furniture I have, all with ~90-120 year old original finishes. Some were shellac, some were lacquer. This product was great at making them shinny again. I am very impressed with this product and will be a lifelong customer now. The only drawback is they do smell somewhat strongly of chemicals, which not everyone will tolerate. The smell goes away very quickly after an item is treated, but if you open the can and start applying it anyone in/near the room will notice it. It did not take long for the smell to go away, so its not much of a drawback, but some people might not like that. I never expected it to make such a good improvement in reshining old original finishes.

Right wax, right color, right price
We bought a table from a specialty furniture manufacturing company in Los Angeles that makes tables, chairs and couches from recycled woods from old demolished homes. Our table over time had some marks on it. We called the manufacture and they had on record the exact table we purchased and the finish that was used. It was light brown Briwax. We ordered the Briwax from Amazon which was easy to find. We wiped down the table and applied the Briwax, let it dry a bit and polished with a cloth. All the marks disappeared and the table looks EXACTLY like new. Our table surface is lightly sanded during manufacture, giving a somewhat antique smooth finish with the original band saw marks still showing when the original lumber was made. The woods are old growth heart pine from a building erected in the early 1900s in New York City. The Briwax application was easy and didn't take more than 10 minutes for the complete tabletop. I believe the manufacture once told us that Briwax was used for this very reason. Briwax is a combination of paraffin, carnuba, stain and solvent in a paste form.

Pfew! The vapors are horrible. But, it gets the job done...Top rate.
I only rated it four stars because of the fumes. I wore a mask and opened the windows because I worried about humans and pets smelling the vapors. I ordered light brown for an older honey table because I didn't want to go too light. It filled in the scratches and holes and blended with the darker oak grain. Buffed it makes a nice glossy table top.

Has a greenish tint when dried
Used on antlers to darken them. Leaves a greenish tint that can be odd. Has a terrible smell when applied so do it outside. As soon as it dries (which is about 15 minutes) the smell disappears. It takes a bit to fully cure, I think it says 24 hours, but once it does it is on for good. Makes dusting easy because it comes right off. If it wasn't such an odd color dried I would rate it higher.
