Have had several indoor compost bins in my time. All have had miserly capacity and/or loose or tight fitting lids or have rusted or bent. One final try? Okay. Well, jackpot! This one can take a decent amount of waste before we have to walk it to the outdoor bin. It can be placed square on to the worktop edge for spill-less transfer of potato peelings. It's made well, from hard plastic so it won't bend. The lid is hinged and fits well, so it won't smell. It hangs securely and conveniently inside our under-sink cupboard, so you can't see it. Oh, and it has a removeable top so it's easy to clean. Bloody brilliant, cheers!

Good food caddy - it's rectangle shape is better than the square one the council gives you as that one is quite chunky and stands out on the kitchen counter. There is also the option to add it to the back of a cabinet door but I don't use this and it just sits on the kitchen counter next to the sink. The air vent at the top is quite handy making sure the items inside doesn't build too much condensation but if it's got too much condensation it might be time to change the bag as the food is probably starting to rot. Overall really happy with this, the quality seems good and doesn't feel cheap, and the price feels not too bad for the item.

Perfect for food waste that can be hidden away. Tesco waste bags fit well. Looks stylish and functions perfectly. Would be nice if it had a lift handle at the front but 2 hands when full is required. Holds quite a lot! Easy to clean

Best compost bin for shape. Slim enough to fit against the splash back at the back of the sink and low enough to peel veg straight into it (without holding arms uncomfortable high), yet wide enough to scrape plates into it- a bit of a miracle compared with my previous one. Only downside is that it does get stained on the inside, compared with the stainless still I used to have. I have the light grey one (fits better with my stainless still worktop), perhaps the black one solves this problem.

Usual quality from Joseph Joseph, just the right size for our needs and sits well against the back of the kitchen worktop. Good, sturdy carry handle and easy to wipe or wash clean once a week. I like the option to have it door mounted if I had the room.

I love this! Wanted to recycle my food waste but didn't want an ugly bit sitting on top of my unit. This was very easy to attach to the inside of my unit cupboard under the sink. It's neat and the vent on top is great, especially to let the steam out from a teabag and the whole thing not getting condensation. It easily slots onto the bracket that you attach to the unit and to take back off again to clean and empty it. Great size as well (also the option to have it on top of your unit if you want it to) I'd recommend to anyone

This looks stylish in the kitchen and fits neatly oat the back of the worktop. It keeps waste for the compost from being on view and the sliding grill on the lid prevents any unpleasant odour from escaping until you are ready to empty the bin. It is easy to clean and the biodegradable liners make it a simple task to empty. Don't be fooled into buying the filters as advertised in the "customers buying this also bought" section - they are incompatible with the product (although a refund was quickly given). Recommended although perhaps on the pricey side.

Have had this bin for 8 months hanging on the inside of our cupboard under the sink. This cupboard doesn't have a huge amount of room but the design works well as the depth is quite narrow. It hasn't caused the door to sag at all. We use it for all types of food waste including meat, fruit and veg offcuts. There are just 2 of us but it adequately holds all food waste for an entire week between rubbish collections. And the very best part - the odours do not escape the bin when it is closed. It's easy to mount, easy to remove, holds compostable bags perfectly and is easy to wash. I've had some average to poor products from Joseph Joseph but this is a real winner.

Lo volvería a comprar y de hecho ya lo he comprado dos veces. El diseño es muy bonito y encaja en cualquier cocina, fácil de instalar y de limpiar (NO EN LAVAVAJILLAS, NUNCA). Lo mejor es que se puede desplazar a cualquier situo, sierra bien y no da olores. Las bolsas son maravillosamente resistentes y ganan con creces a cualquier otra bolsa que haya probado. Muy satisfecha del producto, de la funcionalidad y del estilo.

Cercavo da tempo un bidoncino dell'umido che si potesse appendere e, all'occasione, appoggiare sopra il piano da lavoro. Ho trovato questo prodotto e dopo circa 2 settimane di utilizzo posso dire che fa proprio al caso mio. L'ho appeso di fianco all'isola della cucina e per non forare ho utilizzato i ganci adesivi (riesco anche a buttare i residui delle lavorazioni anche da appeso solo aprendo il coperchio). L'unica mia incertezza era che non fosse compatibile con i sacchetti dell'umido che distribuisce il mio comune, ma anche loro si adattano bene. Forse l'unico contro è il prezzo non proprio economico (circa 25 euro), ma per un prodotto così vale proprio la pena spenderli.

I searched everywhere for a good compost bin that checks off all my requirements: sleek looking, not bulky, perfect griege colour, lid does not fall off like the ikea ones, perfect size - not too big or small, holds garbage bag down, lid is removable, good quality, easy to clean, can attach to cabinet doors. This is definitely an Amazon Must-Have!

Super schicker funktioneller Bio Mülleimer. Da wir hier keine Bioplastikmüllbeutel mehr verwenden dürfen habe ich hier bei Amazon Papiertüten dazu bestellt. Diese passen zwar nicht super aber besser als nichts. Wenn der Anbieter passende Papiertüten anbieten würde wäre das super. Auf jeden Fall ist das Teil super. Klappe auf und den Müll oder restliches Essen in den Eimer schütten ohne sich zu verrenken. Die Öffnung ist genauso groß wir ein großer Teller somit ist das entsorgen sehr leicht und es fällt auch nichts daneben. Wenn der Deckel geschlossen ist und die Lüftungsöffnungen dann dringt auch keine Geruch durch. Wir haben den Eimer in einem ausziehbaren Küchenschtank stehen. Der Griff ist super zum Transport falls man mal z.B einen Apfel schält kann mann das dann direkt reinschmeissen. Die Farbe und Verarbeitung sind auch sehr schön umd modern. Den beigefügten Halter habe ich nicht verwendet ist dennoch super falls man den Eimer irgendwo montieren möchte. Dieser ist dann auch schnell entnehmbar. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
