The whistle will splash a lot of water & steam, so made a mock chimney out of foil to contain the water droplets and steam and aim it directly under the vent hood. There may still be overflow of water from the whistle-chimney, so you’ll still have to wipe & clean the stove regardless. Or, all of this could be user error. Maybe there’s too much water and legumes for this sized pot. Don’t know.
