They fit a couple of large comforters plus a few rolled-up blankets with ease. Lets me see what's inside, the zipper works and seems to be good quality. I wanted to store extra long stemmed silk flowers that are used from time to time at our church. True, these bags are not sturdy for heavy items. I was careful with the zippers and had NO issues. It's all just a sort of lightweight canvas cloth and doesn't hold a boxy form at all. This can be a good or a bad thing.
