Minelab GO-FIND 11 Ultra-Light Collapsible Metal Detector for Adults & Kids with 8" Waterproof Coil

There’s no manual in the box, you have to go to the website to download it. However, the design is awful, and it feels so flimsy. The box has a diagram showing how to extend the armrest, but there’s no button to unlock it. You just have to grab what little there is and pull, but not too hard otherwise it’ll come off. I struggled to extend it, so I can’t see how a child could. I bet if someone designed a version made out of LEGO Technic, it would be by far better quality, strong and durable compared to this rubbish. Certainly not worth £109!

I brought a Minelab 11 which arrived promptly. My 2 sons and i were very excited to get out to use it. Unfortunately on our first use we noticed that a part of the clip holding the screen in place had come off so the screen kept falling down. I contacted the seller and provided pictures and details of the fault and they were very responsive and gave me a replacement detector.

Great product. Ideal for a gift as a first time starter

I regret to provide feedback on the Go-Find Minelab 11 Metal Detector, as my experience with the product has been less than satisfactory. While the initial detection capabilities seemed promising, a notable issue arises when attempting to locate the approximate location of the detected metal. Unfortunately, the detector consistently fails to maintain detection as I narrow down the target area. This inconsistency in performance has significantly hindered the device's usability and has been a source of frustration during my usage. The detector often fails to register the presence of the metal once initial detection has occurred, making it challenging to pinpoint and retrieve targets accurately. This inconsistency in detecting metal throughout the search process has impacted the overall effectiveness of the product, rendering it less reliable than expected. The issue appears to be beyond user technique, as various troubleshooting attempts have yielded minimal improvement. I would appreciate further insights or guidance on resolving this issue. If this is a known limitation or if there are recommended solutions, it would be beneficial for users to be aware of these considerations before making a purchase. I hope this feedback contributes to product improvement and aids potential buyers in making informed decisions.

Was really looking forward to using this metal detector, but when it arrived I was somewhat disappointed! Sadly it didn’t meet my expectations that others had put in their reviews. I found it didn’t have a great response to items deeper than around 6” (sometimes less). The casing seemed lightweight and dare I say in a nice way of a cheap item mass produced. This is a nice starter unit or for someone that’s just wanting to see if detecting is for them.

Davvero un gran bel giochino, che poi giochino non è in quanto può essere usato anche a livello agonistico è abbastanza potente da rilevare oggetti in profondità anche 10 15 cm e poi semplice da trasportare. Adatto sia bambini che si vogliono avvicinare a questo mondo sia da adulti per averlo sempre a portata di mano

Zuerst hatte ich für 50 EUR einen No-Name Detektor bestellt mit analogem Display. Dieser hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert, erinnerte mehr an einen Zufallsgenerator. Im Gegensatz dazu funktioniert der Go Find 11 einfach super. Einfach nur einschalten und es funktioniert so wie man es von einem Metalldetektor erwartet. Piepst wenn Metall da ist und zeigt sogar auf dem Display an was es für Metall ist. Damit machts spass. Im Gegensatz dazu das No-Name Teil war nur frust. Hier lohnen sich die 120 EUR für dieses Markenprodukt definitiv. Informiert euch welches die renomierten Marken von Metalldetektoren sind und lasst besser die Finger von anderem Müll.
