The easy way has been covered here, either connect the TPLink via an ethernet cable ( honestly, Cat5, 5e, 6 matter little in a domestic application) from its blue port back to any one of the LAN ports of the virgin media router. When the TP Link is connected, it will sort itself out and automatically decide how to configure both networks. Alternatively, jump into the TPLink settings and change from router mode to wireless access point mode, and the TPLink will then act as a Wifi extender. The complex way does involve changing a lot of settings, but has the advantage that your internal network will be one, and technically not two. Having it as one, means that sharing devices like printers, media centres, disk drives will be possible. Having two networks, unless you want to get a little complex means this sharing is not likely to happen.
