The camera would also stop working and require resetting if you connected using the app. Don’t waste your money on this!***Let's make no bones about it, this is a pricey baby monitor, arguably more so than the majority of mainstream monitors out there, so I was expecting big things from this product.The positives are the fact you can access over the dedicated monitor as well as the app on your phone via Wifi/3G, which was the main reason I went for this unit. Having used a £50 webcam with our first, it's far more beneficial having a dedicated monitor unit you can take anywhere, without relying on WiFi, but with the option if needed to use an app. It was also easy to set up and is fairly intuitive to use. The speaker is also fairly loud, we had volume issues with the Angel Care we had previously so this was a welcome plus point.However, I was very disappointed with the range. Having used an Angel Care monitor previously which had virtually full strength signal throughout the house, the Luvion struggles to maintain a bar of signal when I go downstairs. In fact, I had to return a unit as it was cutting out when in the Kitchen, underneath my kids' bedroom. The replacement was marginally better, allowing me to monitor around most of the house, however even now it struggles even to maintain a bar of signal when downstairs. I think is poor considering the price of this product, not to mention others I've used which have had no signal issues (so it's unlikely to be interference in my house).Also picture quality isn't great, again for the price I'd expect at least 1080p (which my cheap webcam manages fine). The temperature gauge was also 3 degrees higher than the Nest thermostat in the room was reading, so we can't rely on this either.All in all, a versatile baby monitor, but with fundamental flaws in coverage and picture quality, which for the price I'd expect to be up to par.I’ve since downgraded to one star as the monitor now continually loses connection. Not worth the money at all

We bought this expensive monitor mainly for the Wifi online feature which has almost never worked successfully. We found even without the wifi connection it has a very small range of connection and constantly loses signal. Very very disappointed and will be trying to get our money back.

Avoid! This product failed after 6 months into its 2yr warranty. I sent it back to Holland. It was returned exactly the same without being fixed or replaced. Luvion are not replying to my emails now. Awful service for something so important!!! DO NOT BUY !!!

Very good product! With monitor and access through the phone everywhere. Totally recommend it.

Brilliant. Excellent camera and you can also connect to your phone for peace of mind.
