A: Yes clean area, and sprinkle power on then put on water. ☺

A: i puff it around the stoma. then wet my finger and smear it around. it forms a barrier that protects the skin from any leakage as well as seals the pouch on. i use it every time i change and have had no irritation. this method was suggested by the stoma nurse at the hospital
