I bought them for my 2011 Jaguar XK convertible which I store from Nov through Apr. I have been extremely happy with them and was surprised how light weight they are. **Q: what material is this product made of?** A: Don’t know for sure, but seems to be some kind of really hard plastic. Does not seem to be polyurethane. It worked perfectly for me last year, and didn’t slide around on the floor like from other reviewers. My garage floor is pretty rough not smooth. **Q: Why is it suggested to not use these in an outside environment?** A: Who suggested you not use these outside? I use my to support my 16,000# RV on a concrete driveway. Have not had a problem. I also use wheel covers over the tires to aviod UV damage, so the tire savers are also covered. **Q: will these work for triple axle RV tires?** A: I believe so as I phoned the company that makes them before buying them and was told he uses them for his RV. The first time I tried to get the car on while backing the car into the spot I wanted to Park, the rear ones slid forward. Note I was backing up.
