Wrong size sent on all four trunks. Way too big.
My son wears a boys 12, so I ordered the four boys size 12-14 swim trunks. When he tried them on, they fell off before he took a step. I double checked the tag and found I was sent size 16-18! I know I should have realized this sooner, like before I snipped off the tags, and definitely earlier than the day before summer camp started. I had to send him to camp in size 10 trunks from last summer, which barely fit, but all the important parts are covered!

Exactly right at a good price
My son swims 3x a week and I was not keeping up with the laundry so I ordered these hoping they’d hold up until I could get his regular swim clothes washed out. Turns out these are way better quality than I expected and they are going into regular rotation. I got them a bit large and they fit just about right, definitely would not go a size down.

Size up for longer shorts
Great price for two suits! My son usually wears a 12-14 but I wish I'd bought a 14-16 for long board shorts (they aren't as long as I expected) and possibly better fit around the middle (he's a sturdy boy.) I went with the 12-14 because I was concerned they might be too large or "pouch out" too much because of the strings. He doesn't care - he wears them low with a rash guard so it covers the middle - so no matter.

Lint-prone
The drawstring, mesh liner, and design patterns are nice. After a washing, however, I was displeased by the magnetic coat of lint on the trunks. You may have to wash these with all synthetic materials.

Great value. My 6 year old is very slender ...
My 6 year old is very slender but average height. I got a size 4 and they fit his waist perfectly and fell to right above the knees. **Update** grommets rusted in saltwater. White tie turned orange. Worked for our vacation but disappointing.

Don't waste your time, received wrong product.
If you're wanting the charcoal/red-black option be warned that it's not what you're going to receive. I ordered this and at first thought it was a shipping error, returned the first one and reordered just to receive the same thing I did before. I did not pick the small striped option as I did not like them, so I will also be returning this second set. Don't get me wrong, they seem like a great pair of swim shorts but they are not what I ordered.

The metal holes where the ties came out rusted on the first day and my the end of the week the fabric was tearing.
