This worked great for me!
I used the 7A dark blonde color and loved it! I used it to cover brassiness and blend grays and it worked perfectly. Please note, this is DEMI permanent color, it does not have ammonia or peroxide/bleach in it so it will not lighten your hair- only stay same tone or darker. I think bad reviews don’t understand this. My natural hair is brown with some grays. I wanted to add some blonde to blend the grays in better, so I gradually lightened it over a few months (John Freida go blonder spray). That worked well and I really liked it, but as my hair grew out and I tried to add the lightening spray mostly to darker roots, it still always got on the lengths of my hair and eventually turned all of my hair too light and too yellow/orange brassy (as brown hair tends to do when bleached out). I tried toning it with purple conditioner and purple toning mask (Overtone brand, lightest purple so it wouldn’t darken too much or turn bluish) but it didn’t work at all, still very yellow. So I gave this a try and it was great, completely covered the yellow and partially covered the grays, it looks very healthy and even and blended now. Looks just like the box color AND also left my hair very healthy and glossy. It also smelled very nice. I have no complaints, the 20 minutes suggested in the directions worked perfectly and I’ll use it again if/when this gradually washes out. I prefer this over permanent color because I didn’t want it to look too flat or completely cover all my grays (and give me obvious roots as it grows out). If you are looking for a dye that will blend but still leave some high/low lights, and a softer root line, this is it.

Nice At-Home Option - Good Value
I purchased this product to even out my hair a bit and make the entire head more uniform in color (previously highlighted both professionally and by myself). The Dark Blonde (7) did a nice job of that. Definitely looked dark upon application but washed well and lighted up a bit over time and multiple washes of course, as it's demi-permanent. I don't have much experience with box dye, but I would always recommend going lighter than you think you want, as a lot of these colors come out darker than advertised. I like this product and the conditioner it comes with - haven't noticed any damage to my hair. The value is great for the (3) boxes if the color works out for you.

It Works!
I had a hair coloring mishap (as one does) and dyed my hair pink, but the color I used didn't take evenly and turned into big pink splotches. I did several rounds of bleaching, color remover, tried adding more pink over it to even it out, and nothing worked. I ended up lifting my hair much lighter than I wanted and still had big pink splotches. My last resort to get the last of the pink out was to try this because it was darker and had pink in it and it worked! My hair is now one nice even dark rose gold blonde and I love it! My hair was also very soft after using it. It has a weird smell, but it goes away after 2-3 washes. I have very thick shoulder-length hair and I had just enough to do my whole head. If you have more hair, buy another box.

A Very Good Demi-Permanent Dye
My hair had been damaged by using a strong permanent hair dye that contained a bleaching agent. I also sit out in the sun a lot so that didn't help my hair any. I decided to try this demi-permanent hair dye in the medium blonde shade. This is truly my natural hair color. Since I needed all-over coverage due to too much lightening, I followed the directions for all-over coverage, not just the roots. First, it was very easy to mix. Just gave the bottle (with the dye mixed in) a good shake. Used the enclosed gloves. Then I applied it. It was a bit gloppy so wear an old towel around your shoulders and make sure you wipe up any spills. I had to use my own hair covering (a disposable food bowl cover does the trick!) I did not shampoo as it said to do afterwards. I just used the conditioner it comes with. Now for the result: slightly darker than I expected. More like a dark blonde. After a week though, it lightened to more of a honey blonde with some highlights. After two weeks it was more like the color I wanted. Now it is almost five weeks and I am due to using this dye once again, as it faded considerably. Note that I do shampoo and condition my hair every day. I bought this demi-permanent in medium blonde again as it did make my hair look healthier and didn't damage it at all. At this time, I don't want to go a shade lighter than this.

Game changer for my grays
I am so happy I switched to demi-permanent dye! It has been such a relief because it’s almost impossible to "mess up." What I love most is how naturally it fades, instead of leaving a harsh line as my hair grows, it just blends more and more beautifully into my natural color every day. It covers my grays perfectly while keeping my hair looking healthy and shiny. If you're nervous about permanent hair color, definitely give this a try!

Not for me!
The 7A Dark Cool Blonde came out very dark on my hair with red hues, like medium brown on my blonde highlights and dark brown on my light brown low lights.. I am not very happy with the color at all. Giving it 3 stars because it does feel well conditioned and it did blend my salon blonde and grey at least even though I don't like the color it ended up. It didn't fully cover my white streaks but I didn't expect it to. I will just have to wait a month and go back to the salon darn. I was hoping this would be a less expensive alternative for me.

Covered my greys!
Im very happy with this hair color. Im about 65% grey & it covered them! Plus, my hair felt softer after coloring with this product than anything I’ve used before. I used 7A. Initially it came out a light/medium brown. A little darker than planned, but I know it will fade over time. I also left it on 40 minutes b/c I have resistant greys. Will definately buy it again!

If you have resistant gray...
...you can leave this on longer so it will cover gray better. This is less damaging than permanent color. I use the dark ash blond for my light brown and blond and grey hair. I like the gentler smell of this color. I am sensitive to scents and this is very tolerable. It will appear a bit dark at first, but to get better coverage I have to leave on for 45 minutes. If you don't want that, go with permanent color like perfect 10. Their dark blond is warmer, but I like that formula and can tolerate the scent. I recommend natural instincts if you have never colored your hair before. Go a shade lighter or a shade very close to your hair color and follow the directions. If this works for you, great. But to cover my very white gray I have to leave it on longer. The color is very good for me. Do not be afraid to try it. Don't go too dark, err on the side of being too light, you can go darker next time if you wish. The color is very natural and so pretty. Limit the use of heat tools for longer lasting color. Shampoo less often if you can. Otherwise plan to use often to cover those roots. You do not want yellow or orange roots. A color is too warm if this happens. And we all know what white roots look like! With a hair color like this, you can get that youthful hair color back. I only use only at front hairline and the crown of my head to blend in with previously colored hair. I use a wide-toothed comb to ensure color is getting down to the root. Use as much as you and, don't skimp where you are applying it to saturate each strand. I also make sure my hair is free of hairspray, mousse, gel, etc. for best results. You don't have to, but it is best. Please do not stop making this. I also have sensitive skin and make sure to rinse it well. Do not color when you are in a hurry. I also use a microfiber towel on my hair. Save your best white towels for your body or your guests. I cannot emphasize how easy it is to use this color. When you color your hair regularly, you will get very good at it. Wipe up spilled hair color immediately. Don't get it on clothing, walls, bath rugs, etc. I sit in bathroom and play games on my phone to pass the time. I have no stress about it, it is just part of my routine. Good luck.
