Outstanding Glass/Tile Bit Set
I had to drill 12 holes through my shower tiles to install grab bars for my wife. I was more than apprehensive since I had never drilled tile before. I wanted to get a good set of drill bits to minimize the chance of breaking irreplaceable tiles (1950s color is no longer available). After looking at many glass/tile bits and bit sets, reading review after review, I finally settled on the Bosch GT3000 8-piece set. I couldn't have made a better choice. After placing the grab bars where I wanted them, I masked over the footprint for each end of the bars, then placed the bars back on their desired location and marked where each hole would go. Then, taking "the bit in my teeth," so to speak, I got ready to drill the first hole. I had filled a water bottle to cool the bit, just as I had read on some "how-to" site. I pressed the bit tip into the tile and heard a small crack as the tip penetrated the glaze. Drilling at a slow speed and keeping a small stream of water at the contact point, I proceeded. My heart was beating a 100 times a minute and my breathing was shallow. I was scared to death. Within seconds, the bit was through the tile. On to the second hole - same experience. Then, before I knew it, I had all twelve holes drilled and not one cracked or chipped tile. These bits are so sharp that the twelfth hole drilled as easily and quickly as the first, and every hole was clean as a whistle. I finished the holes with a regular titanium high speed bit, mounted the bars, and voila, a done deal. I cannot say enough in praise about these Bosch glass/tile bits. They are worth every cent andt then some. I highly recommend them. When you buy the best, you can expect the best in performance. Oh, and the case is really nice, too. And, the buying experience? It was worth the time spent researching, being a Prime member and getting the bits two days after ordering, free shipping, and everything else I've come to expect from Amazon. I also bought with confidence knowing that Amazon stands behind everything they sell. All-in-all, and excellent experience.

Really really good bits.
I'm not sure what the other guys did wrong or if they had a bad bit. But for my experience these bits are fantastic. I had to install these combination Assist Bar/ Towel racks in two tiled showers of some elderly customers, and due to the length of the grab bars and how the showers are there's no way to center them and hit studs. It just doesn't line up. So I had to use the heavy HEAVY DUTY wall anchors that come with. We're talking the kind that can hold 70lbs each. These require you to drill 3/4" holes in the freaking tiles. As you can imagine with these being brand new remodeled showers just tiled, I was a little worried about doing this well and not cracking a ton of tiles. These assist bars needed 4 holes each. So all I did was I used the smallest bit in this kit to drill pilot holes, which they did perfectly. I drilled nice and slow with my dewalt 20v max drill, pecking away at the hole making sure to clear out the ground up tile from the hole and to not let the bit get too hot. In between each hole I rinsed the bit off with water. Then I took out the 3/4" bit and widened the holes. When I got through the tile (check often) I immediately stopped, switched to a regular bit and drilled through the drywall with that instead of using these for anything but the tile. These bits worked PERFECTLY. They made perfectly round holes in the tiles. At the end of drilling 8 holes there may have been a nick here and there on the bits but they are good to go for more holes. And for $40 I don't know what else you could possible want. I had an identical looking kit to this of regular Bosch drill bits that lasted me a long time as well, they just make good stuff. If you treat them right they will last you and get the job done right. I had broken a couple of them and the kit was getting old though so I went and replaced them with a brand new Bosch kit (unfortunately looks different) with the best bits Bosch makes. I think they were titanium or something I forget. Anyway, take your time and do it right. If you just toss like the 3/4' one of these bits on a wired drill and max speed it through the glass or tile pushing as hard as you possibly can... you're probably going to have a very bad time.

Can wander a little (maybe 1/16”), but got the job done for me
Drilled about 10 holes in porcelain tile and it worked well. Point did a pretty good job of staying on the mark, but did wander a little. I could still mount heavy glass shower doors, just a couple screws at a slight angle. Four stars because of the slight wandering.

Miraculous.
I’ve fought for dang near 2 weeks on a broken valve cover bolt that I ended up snapping part of an ez out bit in trying to extract it. I just received delivery today and put the bit on my drill and just gave it a shot to see what it does and it ate right through the hard and steel easy out and the broken bolt within less than 30 seconds of me actually drilling. Bosch has gained a lifetime customer with me. This Bit cost me a fraction of what I paid for other bits and methods to remove this bolt. It barely chipped the bit after I used it but I’m so damn happy.

Works in hardened steel
Used bit to drill out an easy-out that broke off inside an aluminum engine block. It worked great. It was the only thing that would drill through that hard of steel. It was a 6mm bolt and did a good job of staying centered in the steel and not wandering into the softer aluminum block. It is a bit slow, took an hour of non-stop drilling. Used water for lubricant.

Not as good as touted
Smaller bits burnt out quickly 👎

Bath tub grab bar install project
Summary: Adding a few grab bars to dad's shower. I used a lot of products for this project, so including all related products in this review. Recommendation: 1) When mounting grab bars, it's always easier if you can find the stud to attach to. In this vertical install, I decided to use a stud and Wing-Its anchors; partially because I wasn't sure I could hit both, and didn't want to put two fasteners vertically (on either the right or left only), but that would also position the bar in the shower a little too far in (towards the shower control). 2) The WingIts requires a 3/4" hole through the mounting material. For tile, this can be especially challenging. I used the SHDIATOOL diamond 3/4" bit, with the DRILLAX adapter to get through the tile, and then used the 3/4" BOSCH bit to finish through the dry wall. Also used the BOSCH bits for the other small hole. Having the right tool for the job is the difference between project completion, and a messy, disaster. Okay, but no three-flat design.
Shorter than expected based on the pictures - the unpainted part of the shank is only 40mm. The shank is fully cylindrical, with no three-flat design. I used it to drill through tiles. The first hole went well, but the second felt noticeably harder, so I wouldn't expect it to last very long.
