By FAR the best BDU / tactical pants I have ever owned...
I spent 11 1/2 years in an occupation where I had a professional need for BDU / tactical pants and this brand is by far the best.A few of my favorite features are:1. The fit is fantastic. They are not baggy yet you have a lot of flexibility.2. The fabric is thick but not hot. Very well made and very durable.3. The pocket placement and number of pockets is amazing and intuitive. I am impressed with they way they are setup and the access to any given pocket is ergonomic. Also. the pocket are secure so you don't have to worry about losing items.4. Pockets are stitched inside the main pant body as opposed to being stuck on the exterior of the pant therefore making them less prone to ripping.I wish I had discovered this brand long ago. If you are considering a tactical pant I would highly recommend them. They look great, fit great and are perfect for casual use, professional use such as law enforcement, military, paramedic and so on, hiking, hunting and more. I even wear them when doing work around the house. They are so comfortable and they are of very high quality. Additionally they look good enough to wear in a casual office environment as opposed to something like dockers. I would not feel out of place wearing them in an office setting - they a tactical design but subtle and very clean design. You can not go wrong with this brand. I will be buying many more pairs.

They Ripped, Otherwise Fantastic
If these pants didn't rip, I would be giving them 5 stars easily. They fit well, lots of packets, they are reasonably water repellent (I used them as snow pants once and they worked great), I wanted them as a pair of pants that could go anywhere, perfect for traveling. I used them almost exclusively on my backpacking trip through Europe. They worked great, except one day about halfway through the trip I sat down on a bench with a small metal plate as a part of the construction. When I stood back up the pants had ripped. I was able to sew the pants back up and continue the trip.EDIT: I decided to give these pants another go, and bought a second pair, I have been wearing both the new pair and the repaired pair extremely often during my first few months volunteering in Africa, and they have performed well. So far it seems like the one rip was just a fluke and nothing further has occurred, increasing rating to four stars, because they continue to be the all around good for everything pants I was looking for, and the one issue I've had with them has not re-occured.

Pants does not bind up in the crotch when you are hot and sweaty.
Like others the price was more than I usually pay for pants, however after wearing them for a week, they are worth the money. I drive a Roll Back and get dirty and sweaty every day, these pants are light and easy to move around in. I take a 29 length, but the 30's fit well. The crotch hangs just right and does not bind up or stick to your skin when sweaty. I live in AL. and the week has been over 85 degrees, I am buying anther pair. I also really like rip stop.

CHEFS TACTICAL PANTS
Update 4/25Great pants fit great! The pockets not only are there a ton of them and allot of room but the pockets are desinged to be multi purpose. There was a slight issue with one of the pocket zippers when I received it but was taken care of the next day. all in all I already own 2 pairs and plan on buying more.Old ReviewCame faster than expected. Fits me well, and the pockets are great. However the right cargo pocket zipper will not unzip since I opened the package . Would buy another 3-4 pairs for work if this issue is resolved. Initial thoughts before really wearing them in
Im 6'1 175 lbs and usually wear 32 or 33 waist and 34 length. I was worried these would be too short because the longest they come is 32. They fit almost perfect. 32 length is just like my 34 normal pants. I could have even went down to a 31 on the waist too because the elastic around the waist is so stretchy. They feel great with a belt though. Great pants. I was pleasantly surprised with the look, fit and functionality. Charcoal grey looks awesome like gunmetal. Water beads right up and rolls off. They are comfortable and warm. They feel like a hearty material Thick but light weight. I would definitely go a size smaller then normal but I like a true fit, not tight but no extra slack

Really like these pants!
Although when ordering, I felt the price was on the higher side of what I would normally spend, but now that I have them I feel that these pants are worth it. They are good quality pants. Tons of pockets and performed exactly how I needed them to. I purchased them for a weekend away to do hiking and camping; think middle of the woods stuff. They were very comfortable, not too tight and not too baggy, and held up very well. I'm very happy with my purchase and would grab another pair the next time I have the need.

Simply the absolute best tactical pants I have ever owned.
M-Tac is, in my opinion, the absolute best quality tactical pants and jacket that I have purchased. No I never paid this much for a pair of pants but I am so glad that I did. They have durable zippers and so many pockets, 2 x 3“ Velcro loop back Patch compatible.

Superb Quality
I was really happy with the purchase. I immediately inspected the product and was impressed with the quality. The waist part fits perfectly, though I will still use belt to secure some tools. I was thinking first of having the length adjusted since I'm a short guy (5'5"), but was not able to when I found out that the bottom hem has a string for tightening the opening. The pants was comfortable and a bit stretchy which is good. I am not sure on the extent of its waterproofing but I'm sure it's water-resistant as when we we're eating, my friend accidentally splashed the soy sauce. I was worried so I took some tissue and wiped it off and was surprised that everything was wiped clean without leaving any stain. There are so many pockets and I can see that the stitches are well done.Overall, I highly recommend this product.

Do not buy!!
Purchased these for my partner and all I can say is do not waste your money!! After waiting weeks for them to arrive my partner was hugely disappointed. Yes the fit was great but that's probably the only positive thing we could say.Just a warning.. THESE ARE NOT WATERPROOF AS STATED!! My partner works outside alot and was looking for a hard Wearing pair of waterproof trousers. The rain ran straight through the material and he was soaked. Not what you want after spending out for a pair that's supposed to be waterproof. And not cheap ones at that!

Great Cargo pants
I don't use them as working trousers but I've bought 3 of these and I love them they are rugged and great for an Irish Spring/Summer. Too bad they don't have this model in Navy Blue. I definitely recommend them

Good quality and fit
As a fifty-something with a normal waist (36) but stumpy legs (30), it is nigh on impossible to find this type of trouser to fit correctly and as I specifically wanted knee pads, they are actually located at my knees and not half way down my shin like most out there. I purchased these for metal detecting and after lots of research, the only contenders were these or a pair if UF Pro's at considerably more cost. The elastic waist is ace, the cut just right and more pockets than you'll ever know what to do with. The material appears to be hard wearing but light. The only reason I haven't given this five stars is the hem tie tapes which I'm not sure about. I will re-review after thorough field testing. I paired them with these kneepads, which seem perfect.https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000O57HDO?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
