39mm is for long hair? And is light to manage?

It is light to manage- I do not have long hair, but it should work, it is considered a large round brush. I’ve used for several years!

Is it normal/expected that some of the bristles will fall out of the ion golden wood boar/porcupine round brush large after use?

I've had mine for several years and don't notice any falling out except a few times when I washed it in the sink and rubbed the bristles briskly and noticed a few in the sink--but not many.

Nice but…

It didn’t tangle my hair, flowed well when blow drying and I liked the handle being all one piece so it didn’t have a seam that would catch hair. However, it created unmanageable static and I noticed the bristles came out when I was cleaning it. I returned it.
