The horse is meant to be ridden by the Papo armored knight with full plate armor and movable visor # 39798. The saddle's cantle may be warped. This can be rectified with a hair dryer and a bowl of ice cold water. Just heat the part (any part) that you want to adjust for about a minute, maybe more on thick parts. Once it is malleable turn off the dryer and while holding the part you want straightened or adjusted, immerse it in the water and hold it until it's good and cold and that will set the plastic.This horse and accompanying knight are of a much higher quality than other Papo figures. They were copyrighted in 2002 when the company's quality was held to higher standards.
