wouldn't download. tried 4 times and gave me an error message saying it was their fault. then sent me an e-mail saying if they had access to my computer they could fix it.

This is an interesting product. For those who use Glary Utilities, Avira is the engine for Glary's new malware program that seems to be quite good. I knocked off one star because Avira does not scan outgoing email and certify it to be virus free. Also, the added features tend to be an annoyances rather than features. I may at some point add the fifth star. As an old, retired IT, I have many PCs and Linux servers. I have not found any Antivirus program that I would rate 5 stars. Avast has purchased AVG, while Intel is selling McAfee. Avast may come out the overall winner. The world of antivirus, cybereason ransomfree, anti-malware programs are rapid changing in the world of cyber security.

Every day I receive prompts to upgrade so I have full protection. When I bought Avast I thought I bought full protection. When my year is up I am getting full protection elsewhere.

All I had when I installed this was a trial version. I could never update it. Excellent program, but lousy service. I swallowed my pride, and bought the original from the factory. Glad I did.

Activation code will not take. No place to contact seller. Not impressed so far. If I don't get an answer by the end of the day. It will be a refund request.
