Gave me inspiration to paint again
Needed some inspiration. This painting pad is great with the flower already drawn and giving step by step instructions on how to paint it. Loved it.

Disappointed pages missing
I bought this book to replace the one I had which got water damaged. I specifically wanted it for the watercolour paper drawings in the back. These were not there obviously torn out. No where in the description did they say they were missing. Not very good! I was very disappointed. The book itself when whe is a great book and would recommend it especially if you are starting watercolours. Very disappointed Amazon.

Dirty, scuffed, missing pages
I bought this as a Christmas present for someone but I can’t give it to them as it arrived with scuffed edges, dirty pages and missing one of the pull out watercolour pages. It also had a sticker on the front saying “oxfam - £3” I paid £22.

Real watercolor paper!!
This is not a watercolor coloring book. This is a lesson in watercolor by an experienced artist. The prints on the watercolor paper are very nice and the lessons go from easy to more difficult. Great for anyone starting out with watercolor painting.

LOVELY BOOK...BUT!!
The book was lovely, well illustrated very nicely presented, I couldnt wait to get started on the paintings. That was where it ended, the paper was awfull, I would have rather just had tracings, so I could paint on my own good quality paper. Very dissapointing, thr book would have been much cheaper if there hadnt been watercolour paper in it.

I wish there were some small designs included, but it truly is the best book for a beginner
This is a manual that is indeed, step by step, and gives me a chance to practice since the design can be traced. These tulips were the first lesson!

Beautiful paintings
I am a collage artist that has a hard time with drawing and composition. I used the drawings in this book, and the finished watercolors, and created some lovely chigiri-e pieces. Love this series, and will buy the landscape one when it comes out.
