I wanted to try a 5ml syringe as one of my medications is 5mls and is difficult to measure with larger syringes. I use a Freka Peg and found the syringe works best with a medicine bottle topper (not supplied). This version is very easy to read and measure liquid with minimal print on the syringe. It draws the liquid with ease and absolutely nothing is wasted on administering the medicine. Although designed for single use there is nothing stopping you washing and reusing these syringes, I’d still only do this if the medicine isn’t syrup like in consistency and only reuse these a couple of times before discarding. I’ve been using enteral syringes for 15 years and would certainly rate this one as premium quality. I’d highly recommend them for feeding tube use.
