I decided the book might be nice to try, and when I e-mailed her asking, she said that it would of course be fabulous if I decided I wanted it. Perfectly lined, bound, and even numbered pages -- big numbers, too, easy to see, which she appreciates! I do personally think the best part is the tinted pages, they are very easy and appealing to my eyes! The only downfall to the book is the fact that there is no labeling system for the front, which is something that is necessary for my class. I knew there wasn't one, though, so that's no fault of the brand. Just a thing I wish I wanted! Overall, a very fabulous book, and I recommend it to anyone interested. Money well spent!! My pen and notebook are a big part of me, so I searched a while to find ones I liked. They were redesigned in 2011. They're still great - solid feel, numbered pages, good size, tough, ... they are just a part of how I work. (I tried changing to an iPad, but I like the feel of writing on paper.) FYI, I only use the odd pages. (That is, pages on the righthand side.) My Pilot V5 Extra-Fine pen is sometimes strong enough to bleed through the paper to the other side. It doesn't affect how I work, but it might affect you.
