It's handy for keeping the belt attached when it's unbuckled. **Q: How does the tactical belt buckle get through the belt loop?** A: Dear customer, Our belt clasp can go through the loops of tactical pants or cargo pants. If you want to go through the jeans loop, you need to remove the belt clasp and reattach it after the belt through the pants loops (see video). **Q: Is the sizing chart right? i normally wear 34" waisted pants, which according to the chart is a small. hmm...hard to believe! thanks in a in advance!** A: Yes it actually runs large. As I also wear a 34. I cut off several inches from my belt. Note that the buckles are tough to get through average pant loops, and the webbing quality is not that of the us army standard.
