Review: Lovely heat and super soft - This is great. The heat is perfect and leaves the perfect slow and low burn. I like them out of the jar with the seeds all soft and tasty but often the skin just doesn’t chew well … if you don’t like that. However, I mostly put them on a nice Italian dish that has a nice substance to it where the peppers land perfectly. I show this photo of a cauliflower crust spinach and artichoke pizza with tofu, the peppers, and a drizzle of green jalapeño sauce. Yum.

**Q: long will these peppers last in oil as other reviewers suggested to and how to storehow them if i drain vinegar and pack in oil?**
A: The batch of peppers I drained and packed in olive oil lasted at least 6 months with no apparent loss of quality. By the time I used the last of the peppers after 9-10 months, they were losing color and getting softer. The peppers were stored in a kitchen cabinet

**Q: Should these be refrigerated?**
A: I used mine to make a chili infused olive oil and I did not refrigerate it.  This is what’s left.

**Q: Can this be added to rice ?**
A: Absolutely. You can add these to most anything!

**Q: I noticed that roland calabrian chili peppers have wine vinager! does this mean they have alchol?**
A: No. There is no alcohol. The vinegar preserves the chilis. These chilis are very spicey and small and they have a vinegar taste to them. I used them to spice up some items that I pickled and canned at home and they worked well. A little goes a long way.

I was surprised at how hot these peppers are. I’ve had other Calabrian peppers and these ones are blazing. Pretty much just packed in vinegar, so I read the review about removing the vinegar and adding olive oil instead. I did that and now they are tolerable and have a different flavor profile that I find much easier to deal with. But wow! Gotta love Calabrian peppers🌶️
