Recently I noticed that the one of the loudest components in my PC was my Seasonic X650 PSU. I couldn't use fanless mode because, eventually, the PSU would get too hot and turn the fan on full blast during gaming. I did some research and found this PSU. I had never heard of Mistel before, but, Looking at some reviews from JonnyGuru I decided to take a shot and buy it (instead of the much more expensive Seasonic fanless model). I've been using this PSU in a MiniITX case and it's performing like a champ. Of course, I recommend some amount of airflow from case fans, but it seems this PSU can take some abuse. I've even tried a Vega 64 on it with no issues (the Vega 64 is notorious for power spikes which would cause my Seasonic 650w to shutdown). The best part: no noise. The see-through design is also pretty cool if you have a windowed case. I'm no expert, but the build quality seems to be just as good as any PSU I've used before (Seasonic, Silverstone). For the price, I don't think you can beat it. 80 Plus Platinum, 650w, and Fanless (RGB too if that's your thing). This PSU puts out enough power, silently, for probably 95% of PC builders.

Would be 5/5 however: Started to fail on boot of any OS after 13 months. Swapped in a known good power supply and it's been working without issue ever since. I am attempting RMA, if RMA is successful, I will revise my review and increase the score. Other notes: It advertises RGB, but I never got the RGB to work, but I may have been doing something wrong. The supplied cable is also short, but I didn't buy this for RGB so it does not effect my score. It uses a (seemingly) standard 4 pin RGB cable. EDIT: 6/30/2020 Over a week with no reply from Mistel. AVOID THIS PRODUCT if you want RMA service for 5 years as advertised.

Makes a consistently loud electric pop upon shutdown or putting my desktop to sleep. It sounds like the same sound an old television makes when suddenly unplugged from the wall. It's pretty concerning but an otherwise good substitute for the Prime Titanium 700 Fanless I was looking at initially.

I think they built a power supply that met all their initial sound and power requirements, but didn't think about how the heat would impact it's reliability. As others have stated, the device died after a single year of use, something I've never seen in a power supply. No response from Mistel on the warranty claim email.

I threw this in a home server, I wanted low noise and no vent fans due to the design of my server case. It's been performing great so far, no problems whatsoever. Love the modular design.
