The only thing that surprised me was that the flat sheet and fitted sheet along with a set of pillow shams were white. I would have preferred navy blue. But I must admit the white looks so pretty and fresh. The comforter is undersized for a queen bed with a 13”:mattress. The fitted sheet barely fit and I’m sure after a couple of washings it will be too small. We had to leave the comforter 5 - 6” from the head of the mattress to get adequate coverage at the foot. We use pillows to cover the gap. We cheated the comforter to the open side of the room to get adequate coverage on the side. The wall side is short but you don’t notice it the way it is arranged. Better suited for a full size bed I would think. The curtains are thin but look very nice. There is a lot of pieces in the set which justifies the price I suppose but if it were just a 4 piece set the quality is substandard for this price. Quality is on a par with a $59.95 BB&B 4 piece set.
