Garden of Life Organic DetoxiFiber Unflavored Fiber Powder, 30 Servings

I've used this product over the course of two years and it's a superior product compared to similar products in the market. Works as advertised. Relieves excess gas and bloating. Naturally and gently keeps you regular. Helps with weight loss, and a variety of other gastro intestinal problems. I actually feel lighter and healthier and I can definitely tell this product has made a differnce. It's not grainy, its more fiberous and powdery. Doesn't smell, and the taste is not bad, but kind of tastes like crushed dehydrated peas and/or powdered peanut shells, I got used to the taste. Now, I recommend eating a healthier diet, because this product is not magic, and isn't going to really help you if you constantly eat junk food. As an added measure to this product, I also use the supplement Zenwise Probiotic Digestive Multi Enzymes for Digestion with Prebiotics and Probiotics for Gut Health, which you can also buy on Amazon. These two products combined have helped me and they really work if used properly, taken regularly with a healthy diet.

This is one of few fiber supplements I've found to be helpful. Within 24 hours of starting I noticed an improvement. It does not dissolve, which I believe is part of why it's more effective. To make it more palatable I mix it in a cup of hot tea with milk, or I've also mixed it into chia seed pudding. It kind of reminds me of Cream of Wheat when mixed with milk.

Garden of Life is a great company, use this to cleanse my system of medication.

Sorry, had to see if anyone was paying attention, well partly. I am a fan of Garden of Life because the ingredients are simple and my body appreciates that. That said, this Detoxifiber is not smooth to get down. It doesn’t taste bad, but it is scratchy as I swallow it which takes a little getting used to. The odd thing is that it reacts completely different than psyllium fiber or eating a ton of veggies. ( Don’t read this next part if your squeamish about bodily functions ...but the final outcome is more of a sticky sludge rather than the floaters the experts say you are "supposed" to have when you are getting enough fiber in your diet.) OK - you can read on from here. I began using this product after a recent bout of food poisoning that had me in ER getting re-hydrated. I only wanted fresh raw organic juice from my juicer for about a week after that and added this Detoxifiber in to help get rid of any residual toxins. My energy level has not increased as it usually does after a nice cleaning out of my digestive system...so I am wondering why. It is now a month after the food poisoning incident and though I have introduced everything except glutens, meat & dairy back into my diet, the "consistency" has not changed. I have it every morning in my shake & every evening before bed. I am also wondering why when I went back to get more today, that Swanson's site says the product is not available from the manufacturer and Amazon had me go to an outside vendor to get it. Anyway, I am giving it 4 stars because I like the ingredients but after this next round will probably switch over to Garden of Life's seed fiber if I dont see a change after two 300 gram jars have made their way through my system. I will try to update this review later.

Does what it says, stay close to the house.

I tried making it several different ways with most healthy ingredients and the taste is still there. With that said, i have noticed a lot more bowel movements, horrendous farts and so on, my diet changed to be better so that might be it but I think this product helps, I just can't stand the taste of the texture.

I hate to do this – – I really love this brand! But the FORMULA has CHANGED; and for SEVERAL months I’ve been using it anyway though I had the original formula and very successful bowel issue solving: I am now having to write this review because they added Chia seed ground up in it. CHIA SEED MUST BE SOAKED FOR 2 HOURS OR OVERNIGHT TO BE SAFE FOR GUT HEALTH: It can really clog you up—> AND CAUSE BOWEL BLOCKAGE or ESOPHAGEAL VALVE PROBLEMS and it has caused me problems That built up over possibly a year. For the last few months I’ve been waking up every night about 1 am with pain and digestion has been clogged up -and my belly has gotten really big too, and other symptoms. I don’t eat very much and I exercise and nothing‘s changed except this formula. I’m busy cleaning it out (my GUT BLOCKAGE) now that I finally realized after seeing a doctor on a YouTube video talking about the dangers of using Chia seed —> WITHOUT SOAKING IT (!!!). I spent two weeks in September with my mom in the hospital because of a bowel blockage and she required surgery to get it out: this is SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS to add Chia seed to this. I originally Wrote a very good review on the original formula of this, and now I have to write this one star review and solve my internal problems – –😔(!!!)

I started using this last month after some constipation issues. I've been using it regularly and I've never been more regular. Will continue to use to bump up my fiber intake. Taste is fine, mixability is so-so. I definitely have to keep mixing it as I drink when I just mix it in water, if I put it in a shake, then it mixes very well
