If a mat is a little too big in one dimension, can it be trimmed? Will it fall apart/unravel if cut beyond the rubber edge?

These mats can be cut with a sharp razor (utility) blade and a straight edge for a clean cut. These mats will not unravel/come apart if cut to fit in a particular area. (You would lose the vinyl edging where the mat is out, of course). https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004X2I2GA/?seller=ASIRD3RM6OQ4 Thanks, American Floor Mats

My mat arrived rolled in a box. The edges are not flat. Will it straighten out?

Allow the mat to lay on the floor, the vinyl should relax and lay flat.

Is this mat suitable for outdoor entrance use?

Yes, this mat can be placed outdoors and it will not be affected negatively by rain/snow/sun exposure. If, however, the mat is not under an awning/covering and there's substantial rain, the mat will, of course, get wet and need to air dry. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004X2I2GA/?seller=ASIRD3RM6OQ4 Thanks, American Floor Mats -
