Thick for heat resistance
These were bought as a gift for someone as a replacement for some worn out cork mats. She needed some for hot cast iron pots being put directly from the hob or oven onto the table. As far as I know from her, she was very pleased with them. There are other cheaper options available, but probably not as thick as these.

This item is very good it is chunky and will withstand pots and pans straight from yeh oven or hob.The only thing I disliked was the description as it is confusing it shows a set of three and even when you put it in your basket it lists as 3 but each one is sold individual and different prices very confusing.
