My nine-year-old shih-tzu has always been a finicky little guy. Recently his tummy seemed to be acting up quite a bit. I did some research and decided to give this Wellness Complete a try. Boy howdy does he love it! I'm astonished each and every meal. He actually follows me to the cabinet, watches me pour it out of the container and wags his tail as set it in front of him. It seems to taste great because he eats each and every piece! He doesn't seem to have any gastro issues now. His fur is shinier and his eyes sparkle again. Lloyd and I highly recommend!

I've tried several small breed, senior dog foods for my aging baby girl. This by far, is the best. She's lost a lot of teeth and even has problems with soft food, so had lost weight and was almost completely bald on her back half. Her eyes were getting white and cloudy, as well. She loves and can eat this food without struggle. She can get the pieces in her mouth easily to the few back teeth she has. She begs for this. After several months with this food, she has gained weight back, all her hair has come back and is so soft. And her eyes are actually clearing some. It's amazing. I will be very upset if you change the formula or discontinue this. I believe it has saved her life for a few more years anyway. I've subscribed so she never runs out. My other two dogs- one of her daughters, 13 yo, and a miniature dachshund- chihuahua mix, 5 yo, love it as well. They are also looking healthier and feeling better. This food is a true blessing to my dogs' health. Thank you!!!!

Great dog food for my 15 year old 5 pound Yorkie Bella. When she was younger she enjoyed the crunch of it, but when she got older, with a sensitive stomach, I add chopped chicken with a little chicken water to it. She has eaten it for several years.

Over the last few years my 13yr old American Eskimo has had a few stomach and dental related issues that forced us to change his diet. Let’s just say, Dogs need to have their teeth brushed too. He's a medium sized breed, but with dental issues he wasn’t able to keep eating his normal dry dog food. We switched to all soft food, but that caused him to frequently feel hungry and over time he was losing weight, not getting enough nutrients. We went searching for dry dog foods that were more natural hoping to prolong his life and give him comfort thru his food. It wasn't until about a month ago I found this brand and everything seemed to level off for Marley healthwise. At first he didn’t take to it, it was just different. But after a couple of weeks following the directions about adding it in gradually, he started eating more daily. The smaller bits look like dried cat food, but they are the right shape and size to encourage Marley to eat them. He doesn’t experience problems chewing them, they aren’t hard pieces of “gravel”, like some foods on the market. Read the ingredient contents and you find out, its actually one of the more healthy dry dogfoods on the market. We still give him a mix of about half wet and half dry food, but this brand has really bounced him back to normal activity level. I feel like its given him back enjoyment in eating again.

My dogs love this food and are healthy on it. The problem is that wellness is expensive enough and doesn't make a bigger bag. I cannot keep paying even more due to them not offering a bigger bag of food for small senior dogs, so I just switched back to Blue.

My 11 year old Boston Terrier absolutely loves this food. There is no animal by product or corn in the ingredients which my dog is allergic to and he also happens to be a picky eater and enjoys this more than most brands so it’s well worth the price. The Wellness bowl boosters are a great occasional addition as well.

My 11 year old Silky/Yorkie is as picky as they come. I leave this food out for her all day but she won't eat it until the end night time before we go to bed. It's a weird habit she has but it's when she wants to eat it. Oh, and my husband has to be sitting in his chair watching her eat. I cook for her for her main menu but I love having to this readily available for whenever she is hungry for it. I love the wholesome ingredients and it doesn't bother her extremely sensitive stomach. It's small enough for to chew easily and she seems to love the taste so it's a win win for both of us.

My 16 year old mini pin mix has been on this particular senior food for almost 10 years. Wellness has always been known as one of the best holistic, high quality pet food brands around. Ive never had any issues with their pet foods (they offer a huge variety of wet/kibble foods and ive tried a few) Ive even switched off of wellness to try merricks and solid gold (two other really great brands) but she didnt care for the kibbles and lost interest in the wet food. Needless to say, i switched back. Shes a VERY picky girl. Has no issues chewing the kibbles. Her short coat is always smooth, soft and shiny. At 16, shes still so hyper and full of energy. Her mini pin traits still shine. People can never believe her age. Ive always cared and have tried my best to provide the best quality foods, treats, supplement, etc for my little one. I dont doubt wellness has played a part in her great health after all these years. Pricey, but definitely worth it. Dont know why i never thought about ordering on amazon. So much easier!
