Bought these Chinese Alto MUSIC OF THE SPHERES windchimes as a Christmas present for my wife, along with a Japanese Soprano set to compliment each other. The tonal quality & resonance are incredible. The sound is amazing! Deep, wonderful tones. So very relaxing. Fit & finish are first rate. Everything is either stainless steel, aluminum or poly construction, so I expect to get many, many years of enjoyable music from them. Just be aware that these Alto chimes are BIG! (and on the heavy side). I picked up a heavy-duty stainless steel carbiner order to to attach them securely to our oak tree out back. The large windcatcher is detachable, in case the wind gets too rough. A nice bonus. So far zero issues. The chimes were well-wrapped in a sturdy cardboard box (stamped with the Music of the Spheres trademark logo) which itself was shipped inside another larger, padded box. If you like the relaxing melody of a quality set of windchimes you simply cannot get much better than these Music of The Spheres chimes.

Wonderful, wonderful, just super. I have one similar, but a different Alto, and I wanted my brother to have one for his backyard. He's been sick with cancer of the liver and finally improving after treatment. I thought this would be the perfect gift for him and by fate, the chimes arrived the same day that he received a call from his doctor telling him that his liver tumors had been reduced to ash. So the chimes are significant for his healing, relaxing, and he's loving every tone!

I love love love these wind chimes! They made my other wind chimes sound like tin cans clanging around, so I took my other chimes down and donated them...My boyfriend has even commented on how nice they are and placed them in a better spot. The alto octave is fantastic....not too high pitched. The Music of the Spheres website has all the different sound combinations available through them as well as the different octave levels for each combination (including short wav files to listen to for each). I highly recommend this brand of wind chimes. They are superior to any I have ever heard.

I love these chimes. My next door neighbor has a set and I have admired them for years. Seeing how long they have lasted for my neighbor is one of the reasons I bought these, but the sound is the number one reason. Absolutely beautiful. I have several wind chimes, but nothing like these. These have a very rich sound and are worth every penny.

Until you have experienced the soothing sounds of a Music of the Spheres wind chime, you have not heard the best of the genre. I have given these for house warming gifts over the years, and finally bought one for myself. I am so glad I did. Expensive, but very high quality, and overall a good value. These will last you your lifetime, you are worth it.

These chimes are amazing. I wanted to get a christmas present for my mother who loves chimes but has only cheap ones that sound extremely tinny and quite frankly get very annoying if it's windy. I've heard nice ones at stores but were very expensive. I decided to get her a nice pair of chimes and decided on these and she couldn't be happier. The sound they make is amazing. If you are looking at them, buy them!

they are fantastic sounding. they blow away the Woodstock Percussion chimes in every way. I did not know chimes could sound so nice. now the only bad part is the money they cost if I want more.
