To be truly understood and accepted. Even as you doubted some of his actions, his motives were always out of love, protectiveness and yes, all about control. The man exuded power, strength and control. As the story progresses we once again see more of Amber and Emily’s history. We understand Emily’s decision to be there for Amber and to truly understand why she makes some of the decisions she does, even when we want to scream and throw our hands up in resignation! I loved this story, loved how fast paced and detailed it was. The suspense, secrets, twists and turns grabs the reader and never lets you go.
