On your website, the toothbrush looks the exact same; however it is vegan and made with nylon bristles. Is this toothbrush truly boars hair bristles?

Just to clarify: I sell two types of this wooden toothbrush. One is with boars bristles and the other is with sugar derived nylon bristles for my vegan customers. I do NOT sell the vegan version here on Amazon but the picture looks the same as the toothbrush looks almost identical and having professional photographs taken is expensive. You have to go by the description. Photographs are for illustration purposes only.

These are made with 100% FSC certified beech wood, they are hand made, hand polished and varnished with vegetable oil (sunflower) and natural tree resin. The boars bristles are 100% boars bristles prepared according to DIN for hygienic dental use. They are clipped into the head.

why is shipping so expensive? almost $7 for a single toothbrush?

It ships from Germany with airmail tracked which is the cheapest option.
