A must have
An absolute must have for my stove. The one that was on my stove wasn't legible and this one works great. Definitely should be a requirement for all catalytic stoves

Old Stove, Thermometer was shot - this probe fixed the probem!
My 20 year old Dutchwest stove's thermometer had worn to the point where I could no longer read the temp. There are a ton of these probes on Amazon, but I picked this one because price was right, and the documentation listed my stove as one of the ones it fits. They were correct, this probe is perfect! Seems to Work Good
We've needed this for a while now, Not sure why I didn't think to look on Amazon sooner for it, But There it was! Ours had stopped working couple winters ago now nearly. It fit just like it should and wasn't long after building a fire in the stove, it was showing the temp of the stove coming up to operating levels. And that is a Good thing!

A fine replacement thermometer probe for Dutchwest Catalytic wood stove.
This is an exact duplicate of the original one with one exception. The thermometer probe was too long on my stove griddle plate. The probe was touching the catalytic converter. I had to cut off approximately 3/8" for the thermometer to clear the catalytic converter by 1/4" when inserted. This did no damage to the probe or calibration in an any way since the probe is plated copper. The probe works great.
