Actually Useful!
This onion holder is a unique idea and is very easy to use. Simply push the prongs into the onion with a little force and use it as a guide to make even cuts. No rusting or signs of ware even after a year of having it.

best tool for cutting onions (and not your fingers)!!!highly highly recommended!!!and a very cost effective solution instead of a food processor (which tends to munch things up without a great control on "mushy" onions.....

my mom is very happy with her new kitchen gadget!
I ordered this for my mom because she saw a video on how to use a hair pick to cut an onion.She got a hair pick and it didn't work.So we ordered it here. She says it works great and she is very happy with this onion holder.I asked her if there was anything she would change. She said that she normally slices her onions just a bit thinner but it's no big deal. She is cooking with them so it really does not matter that much.My mom is very happy with her new kitchen gadget and uses it a lot!Also she said if the onion is large she cuts it into pieces.Just thought I would leave a review so others can have feedback.

Item is very small. Have to cut item down to the size of a half dollar for it to workat all. Very disappointing!

Gripable Fox Run Onion Holder
This is the first onion holder I have seen that has a gripable handle. This is an improvement over other onion holders I have been able to find previously. Works very well. Speeds up the cutting and dicing of onions to a point that I rarely shed tears.

The onion holder makes it easy.
This is one of my most-used kitchen gadgets. I cook with a lot of onions, and this onion holder is so handy. You cut the onion in half, top to bottom, and lay the halves on the flat sides. Insert the across the grain, from one side to thew other, and slice between the tines. If you want thin slices, that's it. If you want small pieces, cut across the grain. The onion holder makes it easy.
