I’ve been in the market for a portable desk for a long time and this is the best one I’ve ever had. I can use it will sitting on the couch or laying down in my bed with no problem. What’s more it’s really easy to adjust. The material it’s made out of seems to be of the highest quality and it makes me feel like the makers really put a lot of care into making it. I highly recommend this desk.

This stand is very well built and the joints are pretty sturdy. The one joint lock I'm concerned about is the lock for the legs. It seems like a fairly fragile design. Once this lock starts to warp, I'll definitely replace it with some more secure hardware. Other than the flaws mentioned below, I'm a big fan of the desk. It's a little annoying that two of the pieces look totally different. I'm fairly confused about how one of the phone holders doesn't fit when it most definitely looks like these are all cnc milled.Pros-well built (except for the mistakes listed below)-perfectly packaged (except for the wrong mouse pad and cupholder being included, not matching the desk)Cons- the mousepad piece and cup holder are a different color than the table- the hole for the left phone holder was cut too small and it won't fully seat- some wobble from the high center of gravity (can be lessened by extending the feet, but it still moves a lot more than my last laptop desk)-the hinge locks for the legs rely on the flexibility and integrity of a thin piece of plastic (this will probably be the first thing to break)

This portable laptop desk is great, it is very stable and large enough for my 17" Alienware laptop, which doesn't fit on ANY other portable laptop desk. The lip on the front is great, it is extendable, so if you have a thick laptop like I do it will still hold the laptop up. The only problem is that the mouse tray is far too low when I'm sitting up and have this in front of me - I actually strained my elbow and wrist trying to reach it. So, I just flatten out the top surface and put my mouse with a wrist-pad on the top surface and it works ok. Would love for the mouse tray to be at the same height as the laptop itself. Don't ever use the cup tray - again, it's far too low, so any cup I put into it tends to be popped out when the desk is on my bed.

Just bought this for my daughter who just got into many advanced courses in her school. She used it for the first time today and she absolutely loves it. Easy instructions to put together and ten minutes was already working on a school assignment. For the money you can’t beat how this makes life easier- love it!
