This is perfect. I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day. It gives enough volume to enhance my shape without being too puffy or awkward to move in. There are three layers: two crinoline type layers for volume and one polyester layer to protect your legs from the scratchy crinoline. If it turned out too voluminous for you, it would be possible to just snip the middle layer out. It's a really good quality skirt and I found the sizing spot on. I'm a size 8-10 and the small fits well.
