It is increasing difficult to find amber like I bought even 20 years ago. This raw Baltic amber is good quality. It appears kind of dull at first, but rub it with your hands and wear it for a day or two and it starts to aquire a beautiful luster and shine that is more appealing than some of the really shiny plastic looking amber you get from China that is made of resin. This amber was a warm and soothing feel to it. I bought 3 bracelets so far and my favorite is the one that has light lemon, honey cognac and cherry in a gradation of colors. Amberage makes nice bracelets, and if it should break someday, get some .7mm stretchy cord and restring. I always put a drop of hypo cement on the knot and tie a few times. Every stretchy bracelet should be restrung yearly.

Now. Crossing my fingers for decrease in joint pain!!!

I am in love with bees, and amber reminds me of honey and sunlight and ancient pine forests. It is increasing difficult to find amber like I bought even 20 years ago. This raw Baltic amber is good quality. It appears kind of dull at first, but rub it with your hands and wear it for a day or two and it starts to aquire a beautiful luster and shine that is more appealing than some of the really shiny plastic looking amber you get from China that is made of resin.
