The glow and luminosity are incredible, and even while my skin is going through the “recovery” phase, it looks noticeably better. However, this is a very strong product, and I would not recommend starting it without dermatological supervision, especially if you have never used a high-strength retinol before. The texture is thick and very silicone-like. Normally, that type of texture would make me nervous because I have acne-prone skin, even though my acne is currently under control. This is another reason why I think professional guidance is important when introducing this product. My dermatologist instructed me to start with only one application per week for the first month to month and a half, using three pumps on each application day. I have only used it once so far, but I can already tell that it is a powerful treatment. Around two days after the first application, my skin started to peel and became quite irritated. Using a barrier-repairing moisturizer such as Cicaplast B5 has been essential for me during this process. Despite the irritation and peeling, I have to say that the results are impressive even while my skin is recovering. The glow, brightness and overall appearance of my skin are spectacular. I definitely recommend this product, but I would strongly recommend using it under the guidance of a dermatologist and introducing it very slowly.
