This light-up running vest is fantastic! It’s incredibly bright and makes me feel so much safer during early morning and evening runs. Cars can see me from a distance, and I’ve already gotten multiple compliments on how visible it is. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and easy to use—exactly what I needed for night running. Highly recommend!

I bought this to replace a competitors harness style light. I had that light for several years and never had any issues, but, even when new, the reflective tape was a thin strip and it didn't seem like vehicles could see me very well, nor could other people see me very well. I walk my dogs in the morning before work so it's dark regardless of the time of year. I finally decided to purchase this after thinking about it for some time. It was immediately clear that I was more visible to vehicle traffic especially when approaching from behind me. For someone who is out in the early morning every day that is worth its weight in gold. The vest itself does feel high quality. I like how the chest lamp holder clips into the harness separately so that the whole thing can be removed versus removing the lamp from the holder. The vest is easy to power on/off and change the color modes. The chest strap is very easy to adjust and the whole thing stays secure, provided you watch the video on how to properly adjust it. It's also just fun. It's bright and colorful and I like that. Although I have only been using this for about a week, I have probably 10+ hours of wear time in so as long as it holds up I am a happy camper. On that note, although this does feel like a high quality product and I hope it lasts a long time, I wouldn't recommend tossing it around. I didn't do that with my other harness either, but with that one I never once worried about the durability of it when taking it on and off, setting it aside, leaving it out in the cold, accidentally dropping it, etc. With this harness, I am gentle when putting it on and when taking it off and I hang it on a hook by the chest strap with the chest lamp removed. I have not tested this but I get the feeling it wouldn't be hard to hook the fiber and rip it out of the control unit if you weren't paying attention. The 20 hour battery life is dependent on mode, so just be aware. Blinking modes will yield closer to the 20 hour mark and solid modes less so. I just got the low battery indicator on mine, so about 10 or so hours I think since I use it on solid. A couple things that I would personally like to see changed are the on/off button for the chest lamp being on the top or bottom of the unit instead of the front. It takes a little bit of force to press, which is fine, but the hand position to be able to press it is kind of awkward. Also, I think I would prefer a harness style more similar to the Tracer Jr. Something with shoulder straps that has guides for the fiber optic cable and would also increase reflectivity. Overall, I am very happy with this unit. I don't tend to leave a lot of reviews, but I am a big proponent of not getting run over, and also of buying quality items, so I will update this review in the future if anything changes.

I love this thing. I go for long early morning walks because I can’t sleep. I’m always concerned about the random 4am driver not seeing me. This thing makes me stand out against the darkness from all angles. I feel much safer now. Super glad I opted for the optional light attachment. Makes me stand out even more and it’s great at increasing my visibility in my neighborhood which doesn’t have many streetlights. Nice materials and build quality. Feels like it will hold up well over time. The adjustments to the fit are well thought out. As an added bonus, all the different settings are fun. I wake up and think, “What color am I feeling today?” and choose accordingly.

I run a lot in the evenings or nights - especially now that it's winter and standard time with sun setting at 5pm. For night running, I wear a waist light from UltrAspire on a Flipbelt to illuminate the path in front of me. I also wear head torches from Fenix and Petzl for the trails but not on the road as they could be blinding to other people on the sidewalks and drivers on the road at crossings, etc. While crossing traffic lights, I noticed bright (white) clothing and the waist light sometimes weren't enough to alert the drivers as they made their right turns as I was crossing. I decided then I really need a reflective vest but something that is comfortable for running and not look like a construction worker. I did a quick search and found this Noxgear Tracer 2 and it seemed ideal, albeit somewhat expensive compared to other similar products. I can say that as a serious runner logging 80~90 miles per week, I'm very happy with the Tracer 2. It is so light and comfortable that I don't even notice I have it on. The lighting is excellent and also looks very cool. The fit is spot on and it was easy to adjust exactly to my size and comfort level without any movement or bouncing while running. The functionality of the lights is very straightforward - no manual needed. Battery time is great and it seems to be very durable under any type of weather conditions and usage. Safety is the most important thing when running at nights. I've heard enough stories of runners getting seriously injured or even killed by getting hit by cars while running at night. Even when wearing something like this, one still needs to be very attentive when crossing streets. This item is highly recommended for all runners who run in the evenings/nights. Actually, I think it should be mandatory now. I have observed a big difference. Drivers notice you right away and it provides a peace of mind while running.

First off the price is a little steep and i think that is due to the quality of this light "vest" and materials used here and the optional chest light is a very specifically made product that the manufacturers probably have to pay a higher price to make because the unique clip design and materials that make it up probably costs them a bit more as well so the customer pays a little more for these products but with that being said I'll give you my opinion to why this product is worth the money. First off the high visibility yellow chest strap is not cheaply made in fact it is double the thickness of other running safety vests I've used that didn't hold up and the buckles with this strap don't move with running motions and that alone is worth it because cheaper vests will bounce and the chest buckles eventually loosen when going on a decent exercise but i haven't had that issue with this noxgear light vest. Secondly the little globe nodules that you press to loosen or tighten the light straps keep this vest in place the entire time i am exercising which is incredible because i walk anywhere from 20-30 miles everytime i use this and it never once moves. It is super bright w/o the optional chest light but the chest light is absolutely great if you want to see in front of you where there are little to no street lights and it definitely helps when you are on sidewalks and cars are driving by facing you with blinding headlights. The size chart was right on for me because it said just pick the size you usually buy in shirts and i wear a 2x and so i bought the xl one and the fit was fantastic and there is a little bit of room left in the straps if i needed to adjust it at all. The buckle in the front makes taking this thing on and off a breeze and the functionality is very simple with the on and off switch on the back pad and so many colors/light modes that allow anyone to be safely seen at any given time. I've had compliments on it a couple of times already and i just started wearing it. I look at the price this way...why waste money on cheaper vests that don't last and the visibility of those is terrible compared to this one. Just spend the money because you can't put a price on your safety and buy something that will last. They apparently pick winners in drawings if you promote this on social media and tag them every so often and they pay the winner back full price on their vest but i don't have social media so i can't answer to whether or not that works but I'm very happy i bought this and i highly recommend this product to anybody who runs or walks during the dark hours.

I really like this reflective vest. Ive gone through many types of refkective/light options for running at night, but this is by far the best. It is very easy to wear and barely noticeable when running. There are many light/color choices via a button on the back of the unit. The battery life is several hours and charges quickly via USB C. I bought the light that also be attached and would recommend that. The light is very bright which both lights up the area in front of you and makes you easier to be seen. Having a light at your chest is so much more comfortable than on your head or in your hand. I was hesitant to buy based on the cost, but now would easily buy again if it ever needs to be replaced. Definitely recommend to anyone running at night.

To sum it up. I will be buying more of these if I ever have to and will be running with this for the rest of my life 5 stars! I find reviews to be really helpful when they are listed in a pros and cons list so here we go. Pros 1. Literally life saving. On my third run I was almost run over by a distracted driver. Which has never happened to me on a run before. I was shocked when it happened and they even stopped and apologized and said she reacted right away because of how bright this is. 2. Traffic immediately starts to behave differently when I run with this on. I can see almost every car drive around me as if there was a bubble like we are supposed to do with bikes. It's amazing. 3. Incredibly light and comfortable. I don't notice it all when running. 4. Great battery life and weather resistant. I have run with it while it's drizzling and had no issue. I can charge it once and it will last me about a week and half with 30 minute runs everyday. 5. Great accessory. The additional light you can purchase with it works incredibly well. Highly recommend that. Cons. 1. The price. YIKES. However, very worth it for the safety that it provides, literally already saved me once. Plus the build quality is noticeable good. So that makes up for it. 2. Pay attention to sizing and check out the sizing chart. I wish this was more inclusive to bigger bodies. There are plenty of curvy runners out there that could use this. Not to mention all the road workers and night shift workers that could benefit from this in a larger size. For reference I wear a size small in Old Navy shirts and according to their sizing chart I use a M/L.

I visited the noxgear website and watched the videos of this product in actual use under both early dawn and dusk periods as well as in complete darkness. The main advantage of this product over a flashlight or clothing with reflective inserts is that it is visible under many lighting conditions. As an example, clothing with reflective inserts are effective only if there is some sort of lighting in the area (street lighting, signage lighting, etc.) and, most importantly, if vehicles have on their lights. Even if there is lighting in the immediate environment, the reflective inserts are effective only from certain angles and not from an all-around perspective. As well, the light from a flashlight may be bright enough but tends to be focused in a narrow area and not effective as to act as a signal to drivers of vehicles or other pedestrians. The noxgear Tracer360 is a very good product as it provides an appropriate amount of illumination and is suitable under almost all weather conditions. There is choice of either solid colours or flashing variations of colours to use and it is very light in weight. I have not had a chance to use it during snow or very cold conditions but I had no issues with it during a recent thunderstorm. I ordered the extra large size and found that it will fit over clothes as slim as a t-shirt to as bulky as a winter parka (I am almost six feet tall with a slim build). The most important aspect of this product is to ensure that the band which fits and rests at or just below the rib cage is snug but not tight. My only concern about this product is that the plastic buckles which connect the right side of the band with the left is a bit too thin and may break with forceful use but it is a very useful product overall.

Ich möchte diese Leuchtweste allen ans Herz legen, die bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen draußen unterwegs sind, ohne einen Blechkäfig namens Auto um sich zu haben... Es ist sehr angenehm zu tragen und fällt wirklich unglaublich gut auf! KEINER hat mehr eine Entschuldigung, einen nicht gesehen zu haben. Ich fühle mich viel sicherer und die anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer nehmen einen ernst. Es ist außerdem super verstellbar und passt sogar bequem über einen Rucksack und stört auch nicht beim Laufen. Sollte jeder haben!

très bon produit testé sur des routes de campagne où la visibilité est mauvaise, idéale pour des entrainements nocturnes, utilisé en complément d'une lampe frontale ,très sécuritaire.

Lo recomiendo cuando estas en ciudad por que te ven venir los coches tanto en bici como de runner, eso si.. tienes que estar preparado por que vas a llamar mucho la atención, quiza demasiado caro para lo que es.
