Flexible (rubber? silicone?) case you put phone in, then a hard shell back .Everything fits/snaps together very well. When you're done, the phone seems well protected. And, its GREAT looking. It fit the iPhone X easily and has a high ridge along the front of the phone so my screen doesn't get scratched if I leave it on a flat surface. Has a smooth matte feel, the print is vibrant and so cute! Review: The reviews were right, it's bad - I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I should have listened. The rubber is so loose and flimsy, you could very easily tear through it with a dull pencil. And if that weren't bad enough, mine came morphed on the top and sides and I don't think there's any fixing it. The hard plastic is okay and is at least sturdy, but it doesn't quite keep the rubber in place, so even fully covered, you can literally push your phone up and down along with the rubber. It's just not as snug a fit as it should be and I wouldn't trust it to survive a fall. Color isn't quite as advertised either. Pictures show an almost neon bright aquamarine but it's really much less intense and more faded than that, but that might be on me and my expectations.
