...still in the air if this stuff works but gonna use the rest on the next vehicle...but looks good & when u close the metal clamps make sure they are where u want them...I would invest in some heavy duty clams that are wider to ensure a tight seal

El producto es muy buena calidad yo lo use en el escape de mi vehículo y le da un aspecto muy bonito a parte que protege el plástico del vehiculo ya no se quema o se derrite...pero tengan mucho cuidado ya que es fibra de vidrio y debes protegerte las manos y si es posible todo el cuerpo porque deja mucha fibra y con solo moverse se ve que cae la fibra y se penetra muy fuerte en la piel que aunque te bañes te queda en la piel asi que mucho cuidado

It works well for my generator exhaust extension. I ran it through the garage wall to the outside and wrapped it several times where it goes through the wall. I used a heat gun to check the temps. It is pretty good stuff, but you can pay more from a motorcycle shop and get a better product. I am happy enough with it. Note: I have a detached garage, running a generator in an attached garage even vented to the outside, is not a good idea and could be fatal.

Perfect exhaust wrap

I knew before I bought this that the color was going to change to white when heated on exhaust but I covered it with high temp silicone spray anyway so didn't matter to me. BUT out of the 3 different brand wraps I have on my exhaust this is by far the worst in terms of fiberglass. I soaked with water installed soaking wet and wore gloves and long sleeves and ended up using half a roll of duct tape and over an hour pulling fiberglass out of my arms and hands. Other than that I have not noticed any differences in the quality for heat resistance between any of the brands one of which is expensive name brand from the parts store and ultimately that's what I bought them for so I'm satisfied in that aspect just be prepared for the fiberglass and don't buy for the color

This is a nice wrap, but it was thicker than we needed for our diesel heater. We did not end up using it

I have used this before to wrap the exhaust on a diesel heater. It helps dampen the sound of the heater. Very easy to use. You just overlap it a little as you wrap it around the pipe. Works well.

I’ve actually bought something similar to this before but the one thing that was missing is the stainless steel tie straps. They make a huge difference for securing the product in place and I’m nothing but impressed with this product.

This product is what’s advertised. I used it to wrap the exhaust on a diesel heater. I was worried that I might burn myself in the exhaust pipe I’d accidentally came in contact with my skin. While you can’t hold on to it when hot , it would Protect you if you brush up against it. The only cons are the black dye makes a mess of your hands on installing. Once you do the initial burn off that burns off. I’d buy again.

If you're using this for high temperature applications be sure to wear glove when applying, as your hands will turn black. Make sure you are also in a well ventilated area as the material will smoke off (and smell) for quite some time as temperature increases.
