My 92 year old father has dementia And liked Lining up Jenga pieces.. So I bought these for him and He is more stimulated with moving them around and identifying the colors. Perfect size for him to handle! I highly Recommend them for people who are mentally disabled.

Ordered to add some building blocks to my existing ABC blocks and my toddlers LOVE these blocks! PROS: bright fun primary colors (as pictured), perfect handling size for babies and toddlers, sturdy wood construction, easily stackable, good assortment of various shapes and sizes, convenient bag included for storage CONS: If you're looking for larger size blocks, these are quite SMALL (I have included pics of my toddlers playing with them to show scale). I was expecting larger due to the pictures on Amazon (I think the perspective on them may have been off); that being said, I ended up being pleasantly surprised and now LOVE their small size, which allows them to be handled PERFECTLY by small hands of toddlers and allows them to build tall structures - and when they tumble, it's much less painful and not so loud ;)

I was looking for blocks for my 2 years old niece and based on the picture (darn forced perspective) this set of blocks seemed to be about the right size for her. When we received the blocks they were smaller than expected, but not small enough to present a chocking habit. Although I would have preferred them to be a little bigger, she still enjoys playing with them, particularly building things and then knocking them down. They have a smooth finish, so I'm not worried about splinters. They are also small enough for my 9 month old niece and nephew to play as well, but they mostly just try to chew on them. From these experiences, I can tell that the wood is a little soft because I have seen little teeth marks after the 9 month olds have had a whack at them. Finally, the brilliant paint and different shapes allow us to create games to help my niece learn her colors and shapes, which I really like. All in all, although not what was expected, these blocks are definitely enjoyed and are one of her favorite toys.

Small blocks for little hands. Bright colors. I bought for a 1 yr old. He will have fun for quite a while.

Great for toddlers ! Made well

Very pretty blocks! They are on the small side as many have said, but that's not a bad thing to me. It means they will easily fit in the hands of my baby (who we are expecting in 7 weeks). The package says that they are for 12+ months, but I can't see why a baby couldn't play with them as soon as they have the ability to sit up and stack them. So even though they are small, I know that if my kid deems himself fit to play with them at 7 months these blocks will be just the right size for him. I also loved the way they were packaged. All the blocks were wrapped and inside a box. The blocks were put into two card board trays where the blocks were fitted together and the storage back was on top. They were all evenly cut and fit together perfectly. Wooden blocks are pricy, and for the product this is a great price to me :)
